We have so many kinds of Islamic music, from the traditional ones (Arab influenced) to more modern pop-rock songs. Even women can sing Islamic songs too. People who say that Islam forbid any kind of music are taking things too far. We just have to be careful that the music doesn't make us do anything immoral Islamic music, btw, doesn't mean that it has the word Allah in every sentence. It can relate to anything, the lyrics can be from one's own language, not exclusively Arabic. So, the answer is Yes, Islam and metal music can go together Islam can go together with anything. Let's not cage Islam in small place. Islam is very open to new ideas, so that it can adapt to and lead in the future.

- Q: What happened to the metal scene in the States? In Europe, S. America and other places great metal and it's various sub-genres is still being produced. Especially right now the symphonic/gothic/power metal sound in Scandinavia is especially strong. I've always been drawn to the epic sounds, intelligent lyrics, and musicianship found especially in thrash and progressive metal.
