- Q: Can glass reflect light? explain
- It really depends on the type of glass, color etc....but in general yes, all glass reflects a portion of the light that hits it, and refracts (absorbs/allows to pass through) another portion. Look into a window, you'll notice some sort of faint image on the surface, meaning the glass is reflecting some light, as well as an actual image through the window, meaning the light coming from outside the window is passing through it into your eyes.
- Q: For a long time I've wanted a blacklight but I never got one, so can you please tell me how to make one of those black light bulbs! Do you put some tipe of black stuff on a light bulb or something???
- you cannot make a black light. ps the regular incandescent ones dont work very well. spend a little extra money and get a fluorescent.
- Q: looking for light projects
- I may be totally off with this but infinity reminded me of a type of decorative light fixture which was more artsy than a viable light source. The structure was basically a shadow box perhaps 3 inches deep, and in this case it may have been square. At the back of the box was a mirror that fit entirely. Around the inside of the box were what may have been white christmas lights, and the face was glass covered. As I recall the entire structure was painted black. As I'm thinking this however there must have been other mirrors, unless the back of the clear glass front was refelctive to the inside, because what one could see was a series of these lights in a vanishing perspective way. - light from a laser is coherent, that is, in an exactly parallel beam, and all of the photons are at the same frequency and in phase with teach other. Light from other sources has a band of frequencies, not in phase, and heading in all directions. .

- Q: The tail lights don't come one when you turn on lights but when I press the brakes it comes on
- If the tail lights and the brake lights are in the same bulb, the bulb will have 2 different filaments inside it. Most likely, one of them is burnt out (the tail light one). I had that problem when I first got my car, only vice versa, my brake lights wouldn't come on. You have to replace the bulbs; shouldn't be that big of an investment. If that still doesn't work, check your circuits.

- Skylights and windows provide natural light with multiple colors and frequencies. Electric lights provide a limited spectrum. Fluorescent lamps come in different colors including daylight which is warmer and more yellow than the usual cool white
