I have chemically straightened hairMy stylist uses the quot;japanese relaxerquot; You know, it costs $100 an hour and takes 3 hours? I am pale as a lilly, but im 1/4 black, so unfortunatley i got stuck with the frizzy, curly, afro side of it :( Anyways, I really want to curl it, like big volumous curls (i have thick hair, so i dont need a product to make it bigger!), but no matter what I do, it just looks bent and horribleIts been about 7-8 months since I had it straightened, but I having it redone this januaryI really need some tips; I have a party monday and want to try it out before hand! Please be sure of yourself though (preferably a stylist who had done this before), because once I start curling it wont go backWhen I use a flat iron again it gets all frizzy and VERY dry! (I have to flat iron my hair every time I wash it, which is every other day)Hope the details help !!!!
Japanese straightening is sssooo damaging to your hair You can't go back now so here are some tips1) When you wash your hair at home, use a conditioning treatment!! You can a) shampoo and then use a conditioner (leave in for about 20 minutes) then rinseb) shampoo then use a treatment, like Dudley's DRC or hair repair, leave on 20 minutes, rinse, then condition like normal -or- Take regular aluminum foil conditioner and your flat ironShampoo and towel dryThen put conditioner all over hair in 3 inch sectionsPlace foil over the sections and flat iron straight down (over foil)This sort of infuses the conditioner in your hair, moisturizing itRinse style and flat iron as usualFor your party, the best thing to do is a roller setAny dominican salon in your neighborhood will do this for about $10-20Other salons will do it tooDepending on how long your hair is and how big you want the curls use the grey' or red rollers, You'll get beautiful curls, they'll last longer than the iron and they will be straight and free from frizz because the hair stretches over the roller making them straight.
I was wondering if you can regulate temperature of the GHD Straighteners, because I was reading their options and I didn`t see if there was one.

i am looking for waxpaper/grease paper to make a t shirt(: but i seem to not see it in walmart): can you please name some OTHER stores that sell i?
I use wax paper all the time for separating layers of cookies or browniesI don't know if this is the one you are looking for but you can find wax paper in many food stores like Stop Shop, Price Chopper, Big YIt is very inexpensive thereIf you don't have the above grocery stores just check any of the food stores or sometimes I do see it at the dollar storeThe wax paper will be with the plastic wrap and aluminum foil and the sandwich bags etcI hope this helpsJoanne
Aluminum metal reacts with dilute hydrochloric acid, HCl to form hydrogen gas and a solution of Aluminum chloride, AlCl(Subscript)3What volume of hydrogen at 1.5 atm and 25 degrees celsius will be produced when 35 grams of aluminum reacts with HCl-Provide balanced equations-Show all steps neccesary to determine volume of hydrogenFYI- Any answer is a good answer
True aircraft grade aluminum is individually graded based on not composition but on an inspection to make sure there are no irregularities that would cause an unexpected early failure.
A) nickel + magnesium chloride ?B) calcium + copper(II) bromide ?C) potassium + aluminum nitrate ?D)magnesium + silver nitrate ?Thanks!
A) nickel + magnesium chloride ? Ni + MgCl2(aq) - No reaction Mg is above Ni in activity series B) calcium + copper(II) bromide ? Ca + CuBr2(aq) - CaBr2(aq) + Cu(s) C) potassium + aluminum nitrate ? You might think that it is this reaction 3K + Al(NO3)3(aq) - 3KNO3 + Al(s) But in reality the K would react with the water in which the aluminum nitrate was dissolved and produce KOH(aq) and H2 gasIn the basic solution, Al will react with water to make Al3+ and H2 gasTherefore, no elemental Al will be producedSo the bottom line is that adding K metal to a solution of Al(NO3)3 will leave you with aluminum ions and nitrate ions in solution and potassium ions in solution and hydroxide ions in solution and hydrogen being given off as a gas2K + 2H2O - 2KOH(aq) + H2(g) D) magnesium + silver nitrate Mg + 2AgNO3(aq) - Mg(NO3)2 + 2Ag(s)
I am new to chemistry, and balancing equations takes time to learnWhat is the total ionic equation for FeCl2 + Cu? What is the net ionic equation? In an experiment would the test results be the same if you place an aluminum wire in a test tube filled with FeCl2 and another piece of aluminum wire in a test tube filled with FeSO4?
1st Case- FeCl2 (aq)+ Cu(s) or Ferrouschloride+ Copper gives nothing,i.e.,there's no reaction as copper here is less reactive than iron (ferrous)Reaction would have taken place only if the metal would have been more reactive than the metal in the aqueous solution(you have to study the reactivity series of metals for more information)2nd case- FeCl2 + Al or Ferrouschloride + Aluminium gives AlCl3 + Fe or Aluminiumchloride + IronBalancing- R.H.S.-3FeCl2 + 2Al L.H.S.-2AlCl3 + 3Fe 3rd case- FeSO4 + Al or Ferroussulphate + Aluminium gives Al2(SO4)3 + Fe or Aluminiumsulphate + IronBalancing- R.H.S.-3FeSO4 +2Al L.H.S.-Al2(SO4)3 + 3Fe In both the second case and third case reaction takes place because aluminium is more reactive than iron.
i was under the impression that you can stick 'em right on the grill, but apparently you need to boil them first?would boil-ation take away from the flavor of the chicken? or is it a small price to pay for not catching Poultrygeist?
No, tin foil isn't good for ratsTry making a fort out of cardboard boxes and shoe boxes! That would be so cool if I was a rat.And then hide some treats like peas or corn in the fort!
