Q:Really want a new steering wheel on my 1990 truck.Old one is too big, worn etc. It‘s and easy install, really simple.no power steering, no airbags etc. I know the cost for a new wheel and installation ( If i didn‘t do it myself )How common is it for an aftermarket wheel to come off or for it to strip the hub etc, Id prefer to not crash at 65 mph. I would assume it‘s no more dangerous than the wheel on my truck now, but just wondering.
If it is installed properly there is no additional risk. Might be safer in fact if you are not comfortable with the stock wheel. As a side note I find it hard to believe you have a 1990 truck and no power steering.
Q:Which country is the country on the wheel
The United States is a country that lives on wheels. Those who have been to the United States will have a deep understanding of these words. Americans use the proportion of public transport in the global context is very low. There is no intensive and advanced high-speed rail network like Europe and Japan, and the railways are limited to part of the cargo. Many Americans did not ride the train for a lifetime. In addition to some big cities, many cities do not have subways and buses, even if there is a bus, only one day sooner or later, and no one to sit. In Europe and Asia, mushroomed short-haul low-cost airline, in the United States is still missing. Americans are generally short-distance and even half-way travel are driving, it is too far travel (across several states) will fly. In many places in the United States, no car or not driving, it is easy to move. Therefore, the US road network is extremely developed, the road is mostly good, and because of the population density is small, the road is generally wide, very little congestion.
Q:i know rear wheel drive is a must for drifting and all that, but im just curious as to what made some car companies start making front wheel drive cars? are their advantages? or is it just cheeper for them?and which do u think is better front wheel or back wheel drive?or all wheel drive?
front wheel is better for control. 1.) the engine is over the front axel causing more weight and over all more traction and grip to the road. 2.) in winter through snow you are pulling the car from the heavy front as apposed to trying tp push the heavy front from the back. 3.) less parts are needed for a front wheel drive car.
Q:I saw the 3 wheel motorcycles, however I have my ninja 250 still (I plan on keeping it) What do you guys/ girls think? 2 wheelers or 3 and explain.
Many three-wheelers which exist in the form of motorcycle-based machines are often called trikes and often have the front single wheel and mechanics similar to that of a motorcycle and the rear axle similar to that of a car. Often such vehicles are owner-constructed using a portion of a rear-engine, rear-drive Volkswagen Beetle in combination with a motorcycle front end. Other trikes include ATVs that are specially constructed for off road use. Three-wheeled automobiles can have either one wheel at the back and two at the front, (for example: Morgan Motor Company) or one wheel at the front and two at the back (such as the Reliant Robin). Due to better safety when braking, an increasingly popular form is the front-steering tadpole or reverse trike sometimes with front drive but usually with rear drive. A variant on the 'one at the front' layout was the Scott Sociable, which resembled a four-wheeler with a front wheel missing. Three-wheeler cars, including some cyclecars, bubble cars and microcars, are built for economic reasons: in the UK for tax advantages, or in the US to take advantage of lower safety regulations, being classed as motorcycles. As a result of their light construction and potential better streamlining, three-wheeled cars are usually less expensive to operate.[citation needed] Three-wheeler transport vehicles known as auto rickshaws are a common means of public transportation in many countries in the world, and are an essential form of urban transport in many developing countries such as India and the Philippines. Auto rickshaws are a form of novelty transport in many Eastern countries.
Q:Height of the Ferris Wheel - 165 Meters150 meter Diameter In the wheelOne revolution is 37 minutesThe distance between the wheel and the ground is 15 metersCan you help me find an equation to represent this data? The equation I came up with was y75sin(360/37)(x)+90Is this equation correct? How do I graph this function? Thanks for the help,Cody
did you bleed the brakes??????
Q:I like the way my friend‘s super wore down skateboard wheels feel, I‘ve been riding my 49mm powells for a long time now, but I see no wear. How can I wear my wheels faster?
It relies upon on the hardness and what the wheels would be used on. they oftentimes make 2 styles of wheels. street and ramp (vert). the better the quantity on hardness, the harder they are. street wheels are oftentimes softer for traction on tough terrain and extra effective for street tricks. they might take extra abuse, yet will positioned on down quickly. Vert wheels are oftentimes harder for a smoother, quicker trip and could no longer positioned on as quickly.
Q:What is the advantage of a 4 wheel drive over a 2 wheel drive? What is the advantage of a front wheel drive over a rear wheel drive? What is the difference between a sedan and a saloon and a suv and a muv?
4 wheel drive is better for all terrains. 2 wheel drive is more of your street style cars. Front wheel drive is best in my opinion for the winter because you are less likely to lose control of your vehicle. Rear wheel drive takes more effort to get the car going because it has to push the entire car with the back wheels. Front wheel drive just simply pulls the car.
Q:My parents are buying me a car soon and they say that the car has to be all wheel drive. i live in michigan so during the winters the roads get really bad plus i live on a dirt road which makes it even worse. they feel that the car i get must be an SUV with all wheel drive. is all wheel drive
AWD delivers the maximum amount of traction for accelerating. Down falls include more friction, so less economy, more power lost to the drive-line, and more expensive to repair and maintain. Also many people get over confident when in an AWD. Remember, all cars already have all wheel brakes. This results in the ability to accelerate and drive faster than a 2WD car, but no added ability to stop faster.
Q:I Just found some wheels in my backyard that my pops left me, but i'm not too sure of the name. They look exactially like the Spinergy REV-X Wheels, but my wheels have 6 spokes instead of the REV-X 4 Spokes. Can someone help me identify these ? And how much does a wheel run now a days ? Thanks !
yes they did a 6 spoke mtb version for abit with the adj nipples
Q:I want to put longboard wheels on my skateboard.just so i can cruisehow do i know what size to get? and what size risers i would need?
usually longboard wheels require different trucks for their wheelsi got an arbor cruiser that has ones that are made for 75 mm zig zag wheels but u can get cruiser types that are around 60 mm and up.i got some spitfire wheels which are like 63 mm i think that work with regular skateboards risers suck
