Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.

(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.

(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

Q:NO NU-METAL.Please don't Say Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Korn, System Of A Down, ect.I really like power metal and neo-classic, but anything's fine as long as it isn't nu-metal.
Black metal and Death metal originated from thrash metal thrash metal has a less heavy sound then black and death metal and black metal has a more high pitch hasty eviler sound than death metal examples of thrash metal:Metallica,Slayer,Nuclear Assualt,Kreator examples of death metal:Cannibal corpse,Dying Fetus, death examples of black metal:Mayham,Dimmu borgir, gorogoth
Q:is it a metal or a non metal? it's a salt, that's all i know. is it an alkali
metal as in a band like metalica? Hard rock as in a band like Atreyu or Saosin? Jeez i love people from both sides. . . . . Hard-metal dude! Metal and hard rock had a baby and now you can love both!!!!
Q:I need more bands to listen to, my top ten would probably be something like this:1. Immortal2. Ensiferum3. Stratovarius4. Amon Amarth5. Blind Guardian6. Be'lakor7. Powerwolf8. Behemoth9. Manowar10. VenomOther bands I like are: Heathen, Megadeth, Death, Exodus, Death Angel, Cathedral, Candlemass, Gamma Ray, Rhapsody (of Fire), Nile, Bathory, Mayhem, Carpathian Forest, Iced Earth, Gates of Slumber, big fan of the drummer Frost, 1349, Keep of Kalessin, Demons and Wizards, Korpiklaani, Entombed, Pathfinder, Wolves in The Throne Room, Cannibal Corpse, Pagan's Mind, Exodus, Black Sabbath, Dio, Omnium Gatherum, Emperor, Overkill, Demonaz, Accept, Belphegor, Mercyful Fate, FleshGod Apocalypse,Dissection, Taake, Aura Noir, Wintersun, Morbid Angel, limbonic art, Cloudscape, I know alot more, but I'm going to stop there. If I had to narrow it down I would say my favorite genres are all types of black metal (excluding raw) , finnish folk metal, and European power metal.
Most commonly recycled metals include iron (and steel), aluminum, copper, lead, silver, gold, zinc, nickel, manganese, titanium, and mercury. The most commonly recycled metals from household recycling efforts are steel food cans and aluminum beverage cans. Scrap metal recyclers process primarily scrap iron, steel, aluminum, copper, and lead. Other recyclers specialize in higher-value metals like silver, gold, and mercury. Smaller amounts of metals are recovered as part of the purification process in primary metals recycling.
Q:I love metal music. Absolutely am amazed by the greatness almost every genre puts out. But truthfully I can't STAND black metal they paint a horrible picture on metal as a whole in my opinion. I cant tell you how many people think the entire music genre and its sub genres are all devilish. Not only can I not stand all their anti Christian devil worshiping themes. But their screeching is dreadful in my opinion. My favorite subgenre personally is Melodic Death Metal. But I can't stand Black. What genre do you guys dislike the most?
It takes more talent to be a metal vocalist than for a pop star, except Death Metal.
Q:I need an idea for a sheet metal project to do at my school.I've already done a toolbox and a dustpan. Any ideas you got please i need 'em. If you got one please send the layout with it please. Thank You.
A lot of people convert old sheds to chicken coops and have them turn out really nice. You can add a roost and nest boxes inside and than a chicken run area around the shed. I'll bet the metal shed would making cleaning easy than in a wooden coop.
Q:Heavy metalThrash metal ect.
In chemistry, the term base metal is used informally to refer to a metal that oxidizes or corrodes relatively easily, and reacts variably with diluted hydrochloric acid (HCl) to form hydrogen. Examples include iron, nickel, lead and zinc. Copper is considered a base metal as it oxidizes relatively easily, although it does not react with HCl. Base is used in the sense of low-born, in opposition to noble or precious metal[1]. In alchemy, a base metal was a common and inexpensive metal, as opposed to precious metals, mainly gold and silver. A long-time goal of the alchemists was the transmutation of base metal into precious metal. In numismatics, coins used to derive their value primarily from the precious metal content. Most modern currencies are fiat currency, allowing the coins to be made of base metal.[citation needed] In mining and economics, base metals refers to industrial non-ferrous metals excluding precious metals. These include copper, lead, nickel and zinc.[2] The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is more inclusive in its definition. It includes, in addition to the four above, iron and steel, aluminium, tin, tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, magnesium, cobalt, bismuth, cadmium, titanium, zirconium, antimony, manganese, beryllium, chromium, germanium, vanadium, gallium, hafnium, indium, niobium, rhenium and thallium.[3]
Q:why is there no metal section? SLAYYYYERRRR!!!
yes but some who have different opinions on what metal is would say no. some think oldies with no talent are metal and new stuff is hardcore crap. genre is just a matter of opinion not fact.
Q:some Nu Metal bands are:KoЯnLinkin Park (their older stuff)Limp BizkitDisturbed (their first album)SlipknotStatic-XP.O.D.Papa Roach (their older stuff)
I listen to some Rock and some metal.
Q:What is the difference between metals and non-metals? Please give sevral differences and only educated answers only. No well meaning guesses!
Umm, i would say they influenced a lot of metal bands today, mostly progressive metal i.e. Dream Theater, but I wouldn't actually say they are metal. Someone may disagree but its all about opinion. I think ac/dc, deep purple, and van halen is metal. Again, all opinions. But one you thing you MUST consider is their time. Of course during their time, they were some of the heaviest bands out. But if you compare them to todays metal bands, they don't sound as heavy anymore. You ever heard of Blue Cheer? They came out during the 60's and they're sound was so heavy compared to the other music being played then. Same with led zeppelin. btw my fav metal band Is METALLICA! I just hate they got old and james' voice got weaker. :( Also that cliff died. He offered so much to the band.
