Q:Scaffolding Responsibilities ?? Please help ?
Each construction site is supposed to have a Safety Officer. If that is not the case...The superintendent of the company using and supplying the scaffolding need to comply with OSHA standards at the minimum. The primary contractor will be somewhat responsible to ensure things are properly inspected. The Army Corps Of Engineers insist that the scaffolding be inspected each day prior to use. Should an accident happen you need to make sure all sub-contractors have proper general liability and workers comp insurance. Otherwise total responsibility goes to the primary contractor.
Q:Scaffolding and scaffolding, what is the difference
Different materials: scaffolding is mainly used in Q235 carbon steel tube, plate type scaffold is Q345 high strength low alloy structural steel.
Q:ad on uk tv, there is a couple sitting on top of the stage scaffolding watching over the stage?
Richard Hawley - Open Up Your Door Can I have a best answer now :D
Q:What is the correct way to have your scaffold or industrial piercing pierced?
They definitely should have used a needle!
Q:Scaffolding/Industrial Piercing Questions...?
Im pretty sure you can have retainers for your industrial piercing if you get it done buuuuut you wont be able to put them in for a couple months cause industrials take a long time to heal. And like the person said below it really depends on your skin tone and what color retainer you buy. You shouldnt have a problem with the industrial though cause people cant see mine if I have my hair down. They take up to 1 year to fully heal. You can swap your piercings out after 3 months but beware it can close up on you if you have difficulty putting it in. You HAVE to wait 3 months before you can put retainers in. Industrials are 14g piercings so make sure your retainers are the right gauge. Your ear will be sore for a long time dear. Mine didnt hurt while getting it pierced cause I have a high pain tolerance but my ear was sore and bruised afterwards. The healing process is very delicate and your ear will be sore for a couple months. Make sure you get the piercing on the ear you dont sleep on. I use a 50/50 solution of Betadine and distilled water. Other piercers have different cleaning regimes though, so listen to your piercer. I always clean it with warm water and use a Q-tip to clean around the piercing. Then I put the cleaning solution on and twist the piercing around GENTLY so the solution will go into the cartilege. I do this 3 times a day and i will do it for a month. Industrials are really delicate piercings so always keep it clean :)
Q:CAN I GET AN INDUSTRIAL/SCAFFOLD PIERCING (IS MY EAR SHAPED CORRECTLY) ?
I think your ear would look good with a industrial piercing. My three cousins have them. Two have HUGE ears, and one has ears the size of quarters. They all look perfect and you will too. BTW, i am using my friends account, so don't think this creepy guy is talking with you. This is truly a girl.
Q:Scaffold/Industrial piercing help?
It does hurt and the healing process isnt fun either. Dont let pain stop you from getting it. In my oppinion its worth all the pain. Its over very quickly.
Q:Does getting a Scaffold Piercing hurt?
I just got mine done last weekend, I wont lie its worse then a regular lobe piercing but every body reacts differently. The second hole definitely hurts worse then the first, but for me after the fact mine didn't hurt at all, some people say it throbs or burns but mine never did any of that. Good luck :)
Q:do you think i should do an scaffold piercing ?????
well, i'd say cartilidge is the least painful and probably the most convienent out of the three. i did mine by myself a few times and i wasn't in pain at all. i'd reccomend getting it done though rather than doing it yourself. with a scaffold it is easy things to be caught in it like hair or something since it is a bar.. and my friend got her tragus done. it is the first time i've ever seen her cry a ton. i heard it hurts like a mother.
Q:A 75kg painter stands on a 5.5m long uniform plank resting on a scaffold.?
The mass of the plank on the left side of the scaffold is: M₁ = (20 kg) × (1.5 m) / (5.5 m) = 5.45 kg The distance between the scaffold and the center of mass on the left side is: L₁ = (1.5 m) / 2 = 0.75 m So the torque of the plank on the left side is: T₁ = (5.45 kg)×(0.75 m) = 4 kgm The mass of the plank on the right side of the scaffold is: M₂ = (20 kg) × ((5.5 m) - (1.5 m)) / (5.5 m) = 14.5 kg The distance between the scaffold and the center of mass on the left side is: L₂ = ((5.5 m) - (1.5 m)) / 2 = 2 m So the torque of the plank on the left side is: T₂ = (14.5 kg)×(2 m) = 29 kgm Now, say the painter stands at X meter on the left side from the scaffold, so the torque added on the left side is: T₃ = X × (75 kg) The total torque on the left must be the same as the total torque on the right, so (4 kgm) + X×(75 kg) = (29 kgm) X×(75 kg) = (25 kgm) X = 0.333 m That is the maximum distance the painter can move away from the scaffold, so the distance to the end of the scaffold is: D = (1.5 m) - (0.333 m) = 1.167 m < - - - - - - answer
