Q:Bed wetting? How do you get kids to stop. My daughter is a little older than the average bed wetter but she has trauma from her biological parents (PTSD) and she gets bad dreams that cause her to be so stressed and wet the bed. She wets the bed nearly every night and we had to put her in diapers because it was just too much cleaning pee pee sheets EVERY night. We tried no water before bed and going to the bathroom before bed, but it just isn't working out well. Any techniques you parents out there use to stop bed wetting?

it could just be something hereditary or her bladder just hasnt continued to grow at the same rate as the rest of her body. There are plenty of products out there to help keep her dry. i know for a fact that pampers underjams or goodnites are great pull-up style protection that are designed for teens and tweens who still suffer from bedwetting. if she doesnt fit into those or is a heavy wetter i would suggest depends. they make diapers for older people who suffer from urinary problems. i use both goodnites and depends and found both to be very helpful for bedwetting. wetting the bed is such an embarrassing problem but atleast with pull-ups or diapers she will be able to sleep better and not have to worry about sleeping in wet sheets all the time. i know it helps me get a good nights sleep and takes off some of the worry about wetting the bed.

You can buy toddler bed sheets at Target and WalMart. We bought Diego sheets at Wal Mart.Pottery Barn also sells toddler bedding. It is expensive but sooo cute.
