SiBa for Iron and Steel Smelting

It is widely used as highly effective and long time deoxidizer in steel-making, casting iron and foundry, while has the function of desulfurization and dephosphorization. It is especially suitable for large thin-walled parts and the foundry of non-uniform wall thickness of parts and small thin and urgent cold of parts, while can used to improve the quality of castings.

Properties and characteristics

(1) Inoculants apply to grey cast iron and nodular cast iron and can promote “A” type of graphite formed and graphite balls complete.

(2) It can be into nuclear in relatively wide temperature range, has strong ability of spheroidizing and anti-recession and can effectively prevent castings from chilling tendency.

 (3) It has complete deoxidizing effect and better than the other deoxidizing alloy agents. Its addition amount is 35-50% of FeSi75’s.

(1) Si-Ba alloy containing 10%-35% of Ba has high efficiency, strong ability of dephosphorization and better than CaSi alloy.

 (2) After adding Si-Ba alloy, the essence and distribution characteristics of non-metallic inclusions will have important change.

(3) Adding right amount of Si-Ba alloy into the steel can improve plasticity and toughness in the high and low temperature. FeSiBa can most effectively improve winterhardiness of the steel.

Q:scrap metal auctions?
Q:Name some Metal Rock bands?
Q:Are there more metal bands or more metal genres?
Heavy riffs, fast percussion and powerful vocals. BA: Progressive Metal BQ: Mastodon
Q:any good metal instrumentals?
KP, I believe Evanescence is closer to metal than Leaves Eyes. It is not because of my preference for Evanescence. In Sweet Sacrifice, you hear those heavy guitars in the background behind Amy Lee's voice. They are much heavier and much more chuggier than the guitars in Leaves Eyes. Leaves eyes seemed a little too light to be considered metal, well the guitars. Now whether Evanesence is considered metal at all, that's a debate. I think so, but not many people. I guess because Evanescence is mainstream and metal is supposed to be underground? Makes no sense, in my opinion they are metal. I hope I helped with my answer KP. EDIT: I think I am the only one that claimed Evanescence as being more metal than Leaves Eyes. hmmm maybe I was missing something. One time on RP I said Evanescence was goth rock and I got flamed BADLY! Now everyone is saying Evanescence has that goth rock feel....errrr I said that before people! I'm gonna be honest Evanescence is NOT symphonic metal, and they aren't the heaviest band out there nor are they near it, but they seem to me that they just BARELY make it into the metal genre, they do make it but they are on thin ice with it. Leaves Eyes didn't cut it for me, and I bet that all these people saying Leaves Eyes is more metal than Evanescence is biased because of their overall general hatred towards Evanescence. I tried to make an unbiased opinion but I don't think everyone else was doing the same.
Q:what is a metalloid/semi-metal?
Magnetism has to do with unpaired electrons. Electrons spin clockwise or counter clockwise. Generally they are paired. When they are not they create magnetism. Iron has 3 unpaired electrons and demostrates tahe greatest magnetism. cobalt and nickle also demonstrate some magnetism. Also, some of the rare earths and some alloys such as Alnico and steel. RECENTLY, several papers have been published on the use of polarized light for revealing the grain structure of metals and alloys. Hone and Pearson1 showed that by examining under polarized light a polished aluminium surface which had been anodized in a suitable electrolyte, the grain structure was revealed, differently oriented grains appearing with different brightnesses. Woodward2, by etching 'Monel' metal in a specific reagent, has found similar effects. Polished surfaces of aluminium and 'Monel' metal, being optically isotropic, do not react to polarized light as do the optically anisotropic surfaces of tin, zinc, cadmium, etc., and the above authors1,2 have attributed the optical anisotropy of the anodized aluminium and etched 'Monel' metal to the anisotropic properties of the surface film formed during anodizing or etching. Although this explanation may be correct, there is a possible alternative which involves the surface contour of the specimen, for it is well known that if pearlite is examined under polarized light no reaction occurs unless the specimen is etched. This has been shown convincingly by Baeyertz3 to be due to the presence of fine parallel grooves on the surface, formed by etching away the ferrite and leaving the cementite lamellæ in relief. Furthermore, Jones4 has shown that polarization effects can be produced by deeply etching a metal surface.
Q:metal band suggestions?
Frist wave bands Bathory , Darkthorne, Venom, immortal all are different Venom is more of a mix of thrash, black and death metal.. Bathory was the inventor of the Nordic black metal sound.. Darkthorne was also more extreme and influenced by death metal, Immortal like venom a mix or extreme black metal... Second wave is when you had more different influnces Emperor progressive/ symphonic, Mayham death and Suicidal.. But the most common ones are first wave Black Metal Blackened death Blackened thrash Melodic Black Symphonic Black metal Pagan Black metal or second wave of black metal Folk/Viking black metal Doom black metal Ambient/ Atmospheric black metal NSBM national socialist Black metal DSBM Depressive black metal Extreme black metal , Nattefrost and Marduk Raw is not a style it just coping of first wave black metal and unblack metal is not a sub genre is either black metal or its not... the problem is there is some sub genre's , the more mix it and progress it loses its luster and sound... I just call it all black metal as long as it sounds like black metal, if doesn't then I don't call it black metal...
Q:How much is a ton of scrap metal going 4?
Glam Metal is basically metal with more of sing-a-long verses and somewhat slower tempo.
Q:What is the difference between varying types of metal?
yes it is considered metal. its a mix of two metal sub genres; metalcore and death metal, so yeah its metal whether people like it or not.
Q:How do I appreciate Metal?
Q:why are group 1 metals not suitable for making batteries?
Well...screamo, emo, punk, core aren't metal dude. They're just scene kid music. Real metal subgenres are stuff like death metal, black metal, doom metal, thrash metal, power metal, and their many subgenres aswell..melodic black metal, symphonic black..etc. There are many good bands out now, under these subgenres...if you've never heard of them you should definitly check 'em out dude. I love just about all subgenres of metal. (Not hardcore and screamo) haha Oh and by the way... Meshuggah is Metalcore. Hardcore dude. Not metal.
