Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.

(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.

(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

Q:wood and metal temperatures?
best for what? Rhodium seems to be the most expensive metal, Carbon steel is the hardest, The heaviest metals are Osmium and Indium. It really depends what quality you are looking for if you are looking for the best An axe made out of pure gold would not be very useful to chop down a tree and make firewood. It's too soft.
Q:Psychedelic rock vs. Metal?
Silverf^ck
Q:anyone know some good metal songs?
No its not, deathcore is a sub-genre of fag metal. Keep away from that pathetic core crap.
Q:metal bands with in between vocals?
Different metals have different properties which make them useful to humans, for doing a wide range of things. Shininess: metals such as bronze have been used as mirrors for thousands of years. Also, shiny things are attractive, so metals have been used for decoration and jewellry. High melting and boiling point: Some metals such as tungsten, have very high melting and boiling points. These are useful in places where you need metals which can stand a lot of heat, such as in smelters and boiler and such. Malleable: some metals such as copper and gold are very malleable: this means they bend and flatten easily when hammered or otherwise compressed. Very useful for coating things (a small amount of gold can be used to coat a large area: very useful for decorating buildings and statues and such!!), and anywhere you need a flexible metal. Also, malleable metals can be formed easily into all kinds of useful tools just by using a hammer and an anvil - blacksmiths use this property of metals to great advantage, to fashion useful tools and implements. Ductile: Ductibility is the ability of a material to be stretched into wires: copper, gold, aluminium, steel, etc. Wire is essential for electronics, which our civilization depends upon heavily. Ductibility can also be used to make things like nails: just stretch a piece of metal into a long, thick wire and cut it at reagular intervals and flatten one end: viola, nails!! Sonorous metals: for music, especially bells and brass instruments!!
Q:What is metal music anyway?
Well, since the sun is about 5,000-6,000(K) it could melt metal.
Q:METAL: THRASH METAL OR DEATH METAL?
dont know too much about this but I know copper is a popular one, but now a days they are using light and fiber to communicate over wires. The phiber is encased with a mirror type material that is shetthed around the fiber and a light is sent trough the wire, the light bounces of the mirror coating until it reaches the other side. they use a serious of flashes, on/off of the light to communicate 0 1's as data down the phiober. then they use different frequencies of light so they can send multiple 0 or 1's down the fiber. I know this is off topic but oh well
Q:Who Can Answer this Question about Metal in Full?
Metal ions may be coloured, but the amount run in a chromatogram would be so small as to be invisible to the naked eye so a locating agent is needed. It would depend on the metal. You need a material that gives a strong colour reaction with the metal ion and ideally precipitates it out and fixes it in place on the paper. Ferrocyanide would do for Fe3+ Reducing agents will work for Ag+, Au3+ and the platinum metals leaving a precipitate if the metal. Sulphide should work for a lot of heavy/transition metals giving black or brown sulphide precipitates.
Q:In order for a metal to rust does the metal have to contain iron?
Lol pathetic. I bet your losing you friends for being a lowly and whiny elitist and now you're looking for more here. If you were the true metal master you wouldn't even be flaunting your tastes. Take a hike
Q:What are some good 2010 metal songs?
If there are 50 different metals in commercial use, then there are at least 100 different ways of extracting thos metals form their ores. Really have to be more specific. Pick a metal, and look it up on wikipedia, it will list the extraction methods.
Q:Please introduce me to some metal.?
Metals and non-metals are the classes of elements, not compounds: so ammonium sulphate is neither. As you say, this is a salt (a compound), and, as a salt of a strong acid and a weak base, it will produce an acidic solution.
