Hydraulic excavator capabilities have expanded far beyond excavation tasks with buckets. With the advent of hydraulic-powered attachments such as a breaker, a grapple or an auger, the excavator is frequently used in many applications other than excavation. Many excavators feature a quick coupler for simplified attachment mounting, increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers. Most wheeled, compact and some medium-sized (11 to 18-tonne) excavators have a backfill (or dozer) blade. This is a horizontal bulldozer-like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for levelling and pushing removed material back into a hole.

- Oh my, I have nothing on this. I don't have a tracked excavator, except if you count my cat... she's an excavator of sorts, but she has paws, not tracks; tracks is what she leaves, cat tracks, but I suspect you are looking for something else.

- Do you have the No mosaic censor remover? That's what causes that glitch. You have to remove it and download the updated file for LN. I did it and that fixed the problem.

- Q:I have a 2004 Chevy 1500 LS extended cab z71 package with the 5.3l. This truck has the towing package such as transmission cooler factory class five hitch and 87k miles and I believe 3.73 axle ratio. I'm wondering if I can tow a 7000lb excavator plus trailer on a short trip 10-15 miles with only one somewhat major grade. I'm planning on having to take it really easy on the truck but just curious if I should forget the idea all together.
- It should be fine as long as the Silverado is equipped with the proper electric brake control and weight distribution hitch. The truck has an 8500 lb towing capacity. Bear in mind the weight of the excavator AND the trailer.
- Q:Having a problem to find the caterpillar 3066 to my 320 Lexcavator so maybe there is a different engine to fit with the 717674 ARRG number.
