I asked him which one to take and he said at this point it doesnt matter. so I went to the pharmacy and got iron supplement ferrous gluconate. They had like 4 different kinds of iron pills. Im wondering if this is ok for me to take. Even though he did say it didnt matter which one I got, how doesnt it matter??? There is iron in the prenatal vitamins I take and I dont want to take too much iron. Did anyone else take ferrous gluconate? Should I be worried?
- I agree with whoever said to call a pregnancy hotline. Too much iron is just as bad as too little iron. It is absorbed and stored by the body, not flushed out like a lot of other nutrients. How far along are you? It's not until later pregnancy that you need a lot of extra iron to help your blood volume increase. Prenatal vitamins usually have a sufficient iron content in them for non-anemic women. You can get these over-the-counter at most retail drug and grocery stores. If you're early in your pregnancy, you need to worry most about getting enough folic acid to help prevent certain spinal cord birth defects - prenatal vitamins are also really high in that. The only time I've ever heard of someone having to take an iron supplement in addition to a prenatal vitamin was when they were truly anemic, and at risk for complications during delivery from blood loss. - Meat, poultry and fish have the highest concentrations of iron and are known to increase iron absorption. If you are a vegetarian, there is iron in such foods as dried fruit, molasses, and leafy green veggies. However, this iron is not as easily absorbed by the body. You can also try cooking with cast iron cookware to increase iron in your foods. Foods with vitamin C also help you absorb iron, so eating foods with iron at the same time as these will help. Being iron-deficient is pretty uncommon in men, though possible if you are vegetarian, an endurance athlete, or have certain chronic diseases. I would warn against taking iron supplements without talking to your doctor as too much iron intake has been linked with heart problems. If you do need to increase your iron, you should also try to avoid common foods that interfere with iron absorption like coffee and tea and foods with a lot of calcium.

- Typically, yes, but it depends on your swing speed on your irons. Personally, I use a stiff shaft (Aldilla NV) on my driver, but use the stock regular flex graphite shaft on my irons as I swing very easy on my irons. A club fitting would be the best way to go.
- Q:does anybody know of a set of irons that are longer,,,yardage wise. i use ping 2 and they are not the longest irons in the barnyard. thanks
- i have demo'd a bunch of game improvement irons and found the taylor made R7's to be the longest i can hit. Several freinds of mine agree. See if you can demo some clubs at an actual driving range - i would think it differs from person to person. But i suggest you give the r7's a try.
- Q:sometimes i feel tired sometimes very tired. I went to bed about 11 and got up about qaurter to 7 so should i be tired or have i had lack of sleep? i am a vegetarian so i dont think i have enough iron is irin in fish? please help coz i hate feeling tired! lol
- Best to use SAE 30 grade this is recommended by Honda for this vehicle. Oil additives unfortunately don't help much and tend to be a waste of money.
