Q:How were Railroad Steam Engines from 1830 to 1890's recovered before the advent of the Wrecker Steam Crane.?
Old Man Dirt is right. Block and tackle. Remember too those early engines weren't that heavy. The most common type from 1850 to the 1890s was the 4-4-0. They, and the other types were usually between 25 and 60 tons. I don't necessarily collect old rail photos, but I've seen many hundreds in other people's collections. And early locomotive salvage was usually block and tackle, with another engine brought in to furnish the muscle required. Since this could be a lengthy process if the wreck was extensive, a temporary track, or sometimes called a shoo-fly would be built to move trains past the derailment, or to enable getting another engine and hoisting equipment positioned.
Q:How did the tower crane rise on the construction site? Fifteen
In the table below the tower crane is the upper part of the tower body has four jacks, the top of the cage tower (tower of each section is called a tower cage) a little bigger than the following (which can be installed under a small tower, heightening cage) need to jack up above "high rise to work, just a small tower added into the big cage, the cage towers bolted, or tall tower cage can be fixed.
Q:Collapsing Cranes..?
These are dangerous peices of equipment, they endure high stress and are at times pushed to the physical limits. I have on occassion worked with and under them and always had a lot of respect and always felt safer when away from them. Construction cranes in particular are more dangerous because they are forever changing in height, position, amount and type of load. Cranes in permanent installations are ususlly carrying same or similar loads. Construction sites are hazardous due to many factors but just about everything on site gets handled by the crane at one time or another. Inspection, inspection, and re-inspection with concurrent correction/adjustment are the only preventative measure availble beside the assurance of competency of the operator. There are plenty of laws about them already but this is not to say new ones might be justified as new hazards become apparent. Most terrorists are too dumb or lazy to get involved with cranes--why bother when so many easy targets are out there !!!!!!!!
Q:Spongebob Episode (Skill Crane) Too Funny Because its true! Those Claw games are impossible! Are you good?
I am 16 and i still watch Spongebob, so what i dont care what people think, and yes by the way they make those darn things loose. I'm a winner see my prize, your a lozer who sits and cries.
Q:methodology to value used crawler crane?
Supply vs demand Extreme examples: If the crane is no longer needed anywhere, the cost will be 0; no demand. If the crane still has a unique useable function and there is only one available, it's immediate cost will be very high; no supply. So, assuming that the cranes supply/demand is somewhere in the middle, the methodology for assessing it's cost would be to evaluate the following: * Where is it located with respect to where it is needed? (place value) * How quickly do I need it, and how quickly can I get the crane? (time value) * What alternative solutions are available? * How much do other similar cranes cost? * etc Hope this helps!
Q:Have you studied Tiger and Crane Kung Fu? ?
i aint trained in kungfu but i have studied it... im a karate practitioner and abit of a boxer. one day i was bored and looking up martial arts then i came across kungfu... it was very interesting looking it up. Theres over 300 styles of kungfu. some styles of kungfu represent a animal. For example... you got crane kungfu... if you know what a crane is, its a type of bird... strong on its legs, well balanced... goes with the flow, elegent. Crane kungfu practitioners have strong perfect balance... just like the crane. You got snake kungfu... just like a snake, it looks at there prey and attacks very accurutly... the speed of the snake bite is so fast, you might not even see it coming. So with snake kungfu practitioners... they are swift like a snake, smooth... Theres tiger kungfu... just like a tiger... vicious, focused... they attack there prey, strong... hard. Theres monkey kungfu... not sure about that one. but thats some styles i know... theres other styles like jeet kun do (the way of the intersepting fist)... drunken boxing ect... this is some of what i know... oh yh theres anouther style called the praying mantis... looks very good. so inconclusion... most of the animal styles of kungfu represent the animal in a certain way... which makes kungfu spark out for me. hoped this helped :)

Q:A heavy concrete panel is being lifted into position in a building by means of a crane (see figure below). The?
The crane contributes a torque of 495,979.8 Newton-meters. 1.78e+4 * 46.3 * cos(53.0) = 495,979.8 ...but this is not the total (net) torque. There is also a torque due to the weight of the concrete slab - torque we are ignoring since we do not know the weight of the slab.
Q:what can lead tower crane to blank out?
(1) tower crane has crack; (2)Brake block friction lining wear up to 50% ofRaw material thickness ; (3)Brake wheel surface wear reaches 5mm ~ 2mm (4)Spring has plastic deformation; (5)Lever system, air travelis more than about 10% of its rated trip
Q:How many meters is the tower crane installed on the edge of the deep foundation pit?
Tower crane foundation, if set up in the foundation pit, the foundation is to pile other, general tower crane is to support the wall. Therefore, how far away from the foundation pit is determined by the distance from the retaining wall.According to the industry standard "technical specification for concrete foundation of tower crane tower crane foundation installation" (JGJ/T187-2009), the installation of tower crane foundation concrete should reach more than 80% of design strength, the tower crane foundation concrete design strength should reach 100%.
