The purpose of aluminium is to make long-life packs (aseptic processing|aseptic packaging) for drinks and dairy goods, which allows storing without refrigeration. Aluminium foil containers and trays are used to bake pies and to pack takeaway meals, ready snacks and long life pet foods.

- Drywall is chalk boardThere is no R value to drywall Seeing that the walls are open and that insulation only has to be on the outside facing walls - you must have some kind of framework there whether it be 2x4 on the flat or 2x2 to nail the drywall to.you could put 2 styrofoam board behind the drywall and not lose anything so to speak Otherwise you will continue to freeze your azz off.
