Product Description:

Aluminium foil acts as a total barrier to light and oxygen (which cause fats to oxidise or become rancid), odours and flavours, moistness, and germs, it is used broadly in food and pharmaceutical packaging. The purpose of aluminium is to make long-life packs (aseptic processing|aseptic packaging) for drinks and dairy goods, which allows storing without refrigeration. Aluminium foil containers and trays are used to bake pies and to pack takeaway meals, ready snacks and long life pet foods.

Q:Back I the early 70's I remember using something like clay or play doughBut it was extremely salty after it dried and was harder like plaster can anyone tell me if they know how to make that kind of quot;play doughquot;
Sounds as if you're remembering Ssalt doughHere's a recipe: Salt Dough Recipe Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup salt 1 cup cold water Directions: In a large bowl, mix table salt and flour togetherGradually add 1/2 cup of water and mix to desired consistencyKnead the dough on a flat surface, adding a few more drops of water as needed (but not making it too moist)Once the dough is made, you can divide it up into small portions to roll into 1/8 thick pieces with a rolling pinUse cookie cutters to cut out a variety of shapes, and place the shapes on wax paper or other surface to dryIf you want to make hanging ornaments, pierce the dough through with a toothpick while it's wetAllow the shapes to dry for a day or two, turning them over periodically to speed up the drying processYou may need to re-pierce the hole several times during the drying processAfter the shapes dry, you can use a fine grit sandpaper to gently smooth any rough edgesBaking Alternative Instead of allowing the dough shapes to air dry, you can bake them in the oven at 200 degrees F until hardBaking times varies depending on oven and dough thicknessMake sure the dough is completely bakedYou can cover the dough with aluminum foil if it starts to darken before completely baked through.

Panic room? Never watched it but kinda sounds like what it would be about
Q:I made a homemade steamer LOL because I'm limited on resources, I poked holes in aluminum foil and wrapped it up like a bowl and put it in a pot with water, not touching the water of course, its pretty cool :) But I need to know how long to steam them for

Q:My daughter's 1st Birthday Party is Saturday, and this is my first time baking a birthday cakeI won't have a lot of time on the day of the party to bake her cake and 40 cupcakes, so I want to do all of the baking tonight (Thursday) and decorate everything on Saturday morningDo I need to freeze the cake and cupcakes or will 2 nights in the refrigerator be ok? If I do need to freeze them how long will it take for them to defrost before I can ice and decorate them?
This answer is likely too late for your birthday cake, but as a 6+ year cake decorating instructor, here are my opinions: 1) Don't refrigerate a cake unless there are instructions to do so (recipe) or unless you are using a filling or frosting that must remain chilled (whipped cream, fruit filling, etc.) Unneeded refrigeration can change the texture of your cake and potentially dry it out2) If you need to keep your cake (unfrosted) for several days, it is better to freeze itWrap it well in plastic wrap, then wrap again in aluminum foil or put inside a freezer bagBut I would allow a good 8 for defrosting, so would take it out of the freezer the night before you will be working with it3) If you make a cake one day and will be decorating it within the next day or two, don't bother with refrigeration or freezingJust wrapped well as stated above and keep it at room temperature4) Another option is to crumb coat the cake with a thin layer of frosting, then store it in a cake dome or other covered cake carrier at room temperatureSee first link in Sources5) You could still ice and decorate the cakes/cupcakes while they were still frozen/semi-frozen(In fact, this would make them easier to work with)But make sure you allow enough time for them to defrost completely before serving timeFrozen cake is not very appetizing.you lose the true flavor of the cakeHappy Decorating!
Q:why is Aluminium oxide insoluble in water?
Hot sause on their lipsput a shaving cream on their hands and tickle their nose with a featherDuct tape them to the bed.
Q:I've noticed that it's started to tarnish just a little bit if I look closelyHow do I clean it or polish it off? Thanks!
Either the wheels aren't aluminum or the spots aren't rustSimply try a readily available wheel cleaner for alloy wheels.
Q:cleaning of silver?
1 Gallon hot water 1 tablespoon fabric softener 1 tablespoon salt 1 sheet aluminum foil Run 1 gallon of hot water into sinkDissolve 1 tbsp of fabric softener and 1 tbsp salt in the waterPlace aluminum foil on the bottom of the sinkPlace tarnished silver on the foilMake sure silver is completely immersedSilver will come clean in 10 seconds.
Q:Also I am trying to find out if I had cu1 or cu2 in chemistry, should I put h2o in my equation because the reaction took place in water? Or should I leave it out?
I don't understand you question.
Q:Will you get the same results with a cooking bag as you would cooking something wrapped in aluminum foil?
Drywall is chalk boardThere is no R value to drywall Seeing that the walls are open and that insulation only has to be on the outside facing walls - you must have some kind of framework there whether it be 2x4 on the flat or 2x2 to nail the drywall to.you could put 2 styrofoam board behind the drywall and not lose anything so to speak Otherwise you will continue to freeze your azz off.
