- Ask for the numbing ear drops...one of my children had lots of ear infections. Since then, I have been employed as a childcare director and seen many ear infections...and tubes inserted. Sometimes the tubes created secondary infections, but more times not the procedure went as planned and was uneventful.. Tubes are usually just used after successive infections. Seeing the ENT is a good idea. We ended up on a low dose of antibiotic every night for a month, along with a decongestant that did the trick...this was our last resort before tubes...that was 20 years ago...these days they will be quicker to do tubes. From an early ed perspective, you will want to make sure that she hears things correctly because she is forming launguage now. Most children are in and out the same day and then back to childcare the next day as long as they were fever free. Hope this helps. Get the numbing drops!!!

- If you do not need long straight lengths and you do not need much pressure, you can buy plastic drinking straws that are smaller than normal. You can find them at coffee shops and may be able to find them at the grocery store. good luck

- If you don't know...Get a nurse or a doctor to help you. You should not do it if you haven't been instructed to do so. A nurse usually does it.
- Q:I got my black ghost yesterday. In his tank, there are several pieces of fake drift wood. These are hollow and have holes in them so they can sink to the bottom. His first mission upon entering the tank was to go to each of the different pieces of drift wood, and try them out as a hiding spot.
- He probably will change locations once in a while. As long as you give him some secure hiding places you don't need the pipe. - This is a very good way to level things over long distances. You do not necessarily need the red drink mix, but food coloring may work better to help see the liquid level. What you would do is set one of the corners of your mobile to where you want it. Next hold the tubing with water inside it so that the water level is even with the bottom of this corner you just set. have a friend take the other end of tubing to another corner of the mobile home and raise or lower the trailer so that the bottom of their corner is also at the top of the water level. you can continue this with each corner until the whole mobile home is level.
