Q:trying to find these sweets that look like little raindrops in a plastic tube, not around anymore?
I'm not entirely sure but I know they sell Hard rock ice candies' They look like little sparkly drops, or maybe raindrops. They can come in separated pieces or all attached on a stick (Like a corndog)
Q:Not all my filter tubes flow at the same time?
If the T piece do not have a regulator on it, replace it with one that has. This is usually called an air regulator. It has a knob on it that you can use to regulate the flow of the air in the tube. Or you can buy a piece of valve that can pinch the plastic air tube so that you can regulate the air that goes into one tube or the other. These are available in your LFS. Ask them and let them show you how they do it.
Q:If you filled up a plastic tube with saturated salt water and used the tube as a solenoid around a nail,?
Only if a current(which would be limited by the resistance of the salt water or copper) was applied. So your question is which has less resistance per unit of cross section.Which would be copper. So the answer is no it wouldn't be more efficient(excess heat).Besides to do so would be a hard task what with leaks, space for the plastic tube etc. since the field is determined by ampere turns.
Q:I have a 5 gallon fish tank it's used but the underground filter is missing the plastic tube what can i do?
You can go to your local fish store and ask them to order you a new uplift tube for your UGF.
Q:I am seeking a bread box with a new and different design instead of the half-dome or square plastic tubes?
Ask at at your local disability resource centre. They excel at handcrafting to specific designs. My local one exports garden furniture and they are fabulous. They love a challenge and you would have a unique bread box no one else does. Good luck.
Q:has anyone had the die test done to check your tube? if so please share you story?
Yes, and I don't want to scare you, but for me, it really really hurt. First they use a larger than normal speculum to hold your vagina open so they can see what they're doing. Then they use a swab with iodine to sterilize the cervix. Then they insert a long handled hemostat to pinch the edge of your uterus to hold it still so they can put the little tube in there. Then comes the super ouchy part, where they thread a little plastic tube into the cervix. I have heard some women say it was no big deal, and some say it didn't even hurt, but for me, it was horrible. Like a bad PMS cramp times a million. Like someone stabbed me in the uterus with a butcher knife. Then the little x-ray guy runs in, and pushes the dye through the tube, and looks at it in a monitor, which was pretty neat, bc I could see it on the monitor, and that kind of stuff fascinates me. Then the x-ray guy runs out, and my gyne pulled the whole fandangle out. He was going slowly, trying to be gentle, and I was like, I don't care! Just get this junk out of me!! But, on the bright side, the painful part lasted about 30 seconds. So don't stress too much. Even if you're one of the women for whom it will be painful, it is over very quickly. Good luck!
Q:What do you call these little fluorescent plastic tubes that light up?
Those are called fiber optics, just like the link says in the title. Fiber optics can be made out of different materials and can be acquired and different places online and in stores, your probably looking for the cheap plastic fiber optics.
Q:Why did they quit making pink plastic tubed popsicles?
Pink still remains the Fla-vor-ice brand's most popular flavor ( punch ). I can find no information on the possible retirement of that flavor. I think that would be silly to retire your most popular flavor. That is my daughter's favorite too. In our last box of 100, they had some in it. But if you switch to the tropical box it is a different set of flavors.
Q:how do i keep soap build up out of the pressure sensing tubes?
Soaps are soluble in mildy basic solutions, like ammonia. You might try that. Of course, if you're getting a build-up, it may mean your water is running high on calcium magnesium ions (i.e., it's 'hard'). In that case, water softeners may be your best best.
Q:How do you securely connect a plastic tube to a male threaded fitting?
You would be looking for a Compression fitting that is suited for plastic tubing. Ask at your hardware store.
