Electrolytic manganese metal flake is with silver gray metallic luster, hard and crisp, melting point 1245, boilling point 1962, with strong oxidation-reduction capacity. Specific gravity is 7.2. In comparison with metal manganese made by elctric warming, the electrogenerated mental manganese is of higher purity, superior quality and wider application.

- Nitrate is neither a metal or a non metal. Nitrate is what is known as a polyatomic ion. That means Poly ( more than one) atomic (atom) ion (with a charge) but if you look up the periodic table you will see it color sectioned off. The will most likely be 3 or 4 different colors. Thos are ( to the left) the alkaline metals, (middle) transition metals (just to the right of the middle) metalloids (to the right) the nonmetals. if you look up polyatomic ions on google you will find a bunch of sites with the common ones on there.
