5.FAQ:
1.Q: Why would you choose ductile iron pipe rather than other pipe materials?
A:The reasons are obvious for that not only ductile iron pipe possesses the inherent strength and flexibility of ductile iron, combined with proven corrosion protection systems, but also the cost savings can be achieved from design to installation and commissioning.
2.Q:Why can you guarantee the inner of pipes can’t be corroded?
A: High alumina cement mortar lining and sulphate-resistant cement mortar lining. These two special linings are applicable to inner anti-corrosion for sewage pipes, improving resistance to erosion of the sewage components.
- Q: If iron is melted and then a powerfullt;electromagnet brought near it, will the iron be attracted towards the magnet.
- No way a magnet can attract liquid iron. Look, iron is ferromagnetic and that's why it is attracted by magnet(which is also iron and difference between normal iron and magnet is that, magnet is magnetically ordered, i.e. all electron spins are aligned in SAME direction). When a magnet comes near to a normal iron, it forces the irons electron spin to be aligned in such a way that they attract each other. Now, irons melting point is much higher then its Curie temperature and hence presence of a magnet cant make the electrons aligned in any direction and hence, melted iron wouldn't be attracted by magnet.
- Q: I usually iron them when I want to wear them but it would be easier if I ironed a lot at a time. What works best for you?
- I dunno, I don't iron my clothes. I don't even own an iron. I hang them on hangers immediately after they come out of the dryer. I don't think I own a lot of lcothing that needs it. If something is too wrinkly when I pull it out of the closet or drawer, I either hang it in the bathroom while someone takes a shower or throw it in the dryer for about 5 er 10 minutes.
- Q: How to improve the quality of nodular cast iron pipe fittings
- To avoid the iron pipe inner wall of mold management lean reduce iron pipe pipe mould run speed, can make a dense and uniform pitting; avoid mold wall cast iron pipe pipe packed too shallow, increase the pressure, wear a good play to nod, can ensure the suitable depth of pitting. For pipes with grease and debris on the inner surface, especially the new cast iron pipe fittings, the grease and sundries on the surface of the cast iron pipe can be removed before use. For the cast iron pipe mould with a crack of a turtle, it is slight to use. When in use, the amount of mould powder should be increased; if the crack of the turtle is serious, the cast iron pipe mould must be replaced in time.
- Q: what is the advantage of curling hair with a flat iron/straightener instead of a curling iron? or conversely, what is the advantage of using a curling iron instead of a flat iron to curl hair?
- I agree with Candylover, also the curls come out a little sleeker and shinier.
- Q: Can anyone tell me whats the best way to get my Iron up?I just got a call from my doctor and they said they want me to get Iron shots!!!!I got one of those with my first child and it hurt soooo bad I never got another one?Is there certain foods that can eat to help boost my iron fast?
- Eat green leafy veg, some red meat, eggs (egg yolk is high in iron) but importantly eat or drink something with vitamin C in it at the same time, as iron cannot be absorbed well unless vitamin C is present. For example, I eat scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast with fresh tomatoes, or a lentil stew followed by fruit salad or an apple. This increases your chances of absorbing enough iron naturally without the complications of pills or shots. Also avoid tea near meals as it stops iron being absorbed. Good luck!
- Q: Rowenta doesn‘t any longer seem to be reliable. Believe it or not I am halfway thinking of a mid-level to top notch Panasonic iron. Panasonic seems to be building them right. The other names if you look at the reviews and the customer service, its nothing to write home to mom about. I would be interested if you can recommend a brand either you or someone close to you have had and the iron doesn‘t leak, short out and doesn‘t become the cool iron after a few months. Thanks.
- I'm not sure there are so much better and worse irons. I used to think rowenta's were great, but they are very expensive, rather chunky and heavy and to me, don't seem to out perform other irons. For me, the best iron is the least expensive iron that meets my needs. I tend to space out that the iron is on, so I want an iron that turns itself off. I want one that has a range of settings including steam, and it's helpful, but not necessary, that it spritz water. I mostly only use irons for sewing and have owned a number, usually more than one at a time and currently own three. The things that happen to my irons is they get dropped, they get used by other folks on inappropriate things or using bad settings and spoiling them or they get so minerally or the finish wears off the face that I don't want to use them any more. It's mostly death by dropping, repeatedly though. I've never ever had a problem with them shorting, leaking or not getting hot. Iron technolody is just not that complicated, and with using distilled water (a must for with my minerally water) my irons can last for decades, despite almost abusive use when I am sewing a lot. Reviews on irons? Please. They get hot. You press things. It's not rocket science. I even have an antique cast iron iron that sits on my woodstove that I could use in a pinch, if I had to. I suggest whatever they have at Costo or Sears. Both of those stores have good return policies, so if you seem to get a lemon, you can return it. I have purchased irons at garage sales for a buck that became my favorites.
- Q: Becuase at the end of IRON MAN 3 it was like Thats it ? i mean this is the end of IRON MAN ?
- Iron Man 4 WILL happen. After a One Shot on the Thor 2 Blu Ray called All Hail the King, Trevor Slattery goes to jail, only to find out that the REAL Mandarin is somewhere plotting against Stark. The Mandarin WILL be the next villain. We know that RDJs contract leads onto Age of Ultron and Avengers 3, but rumors are that after Avengers 2, the MCU might do 3 movies a year. Also, Ant Man director Edgar Wright has dropped out, so there MIGHT be an extra space. We know that in Phase 4 there will be a Cap 3, maybe Black Panther or Doctor Strange, or Inhumans. Stark could appear in Guardians 2 or Iron Man 4, but we just don't know. He probably won't do any Phase 4 stuff, but Colin Farrell might be the new Stark. Either that or hell pass his suits to Star Lord or Justin Hammer. Also hell have an invisible suit and hulkbuster in Age of Ultron!!! :D
- Q: if iron were to bond with oxygen, what formula would be for each oxidation number of iron?how would each formula be named?please explain!thanks .x
- The Iron II ion is an iron ion with a +2 charge. Similarly, the Iron III ion is an iron ion with a +3 charge. If iron bonded with oxygen, it would form Fe2O3 which is rust. In this case, the oxidation number on Fe is +3 and it is -2 on oxygen. This would be called iron (III) oxide. The oxidation number of an ion times the number of the ions must equal zero when added together in a molecule with no charge. In this case, there are 2 iron molecules and each has a positive 3 charge. 2x36. There are three oxygen molecules each with a negative 2 charge. 3x-2-6. 6+-60
- Q: I just bought some Titleist AP 1 from someone for 200 bucks.I am assuming these irons are cast ironsI just want to know the differences. Thanks
- Forged' iron (also know as wrought iron) is different pieces of iron that are heated together at a high temperature and then pressed or hammered together. In this way, one can make a complex shape by essentially melting or welding the different parts together. 'Cast' iron consists of a mold where molten iron is poured in; the end result is much stronger, because there are no join lines that can act as fracture points. However, most molds can only accept simple shapes due to the nature of fluid dynamics within the mold. So if you want a complex shape, you need to turn to forged iron. Most iron goods are actually a mixture of the two; part cast iron, with additional forged iron components.
