i spent so much buying rechargeable batteries for my player (4 pcs size AA). i cannot wait charging the batteries especially when i am on the go. i want a portable battery pack which i can take along when i go out. my player requires only 9v. playing video at long hours easily consumes the charge that's why i am looking for a battery pack which lasts longer.

i have a NiCd 9.6v 400mah battery pack (8 1.2v 400mah cells) and a 250 mah charger. what should be the initial and regular charging times?i was told the first charge should be 7 or 8 hoursregular charging should be 1hr 40 mins.
the rate is normally 1/C - the inverse of the current capacity. 1 hour only if you have a Smart Charger and it can sense the heat generated by charging the battery. I recharge my 9.6v/4000mAh pack in 15 minutes, but I have a battery that is MADE for hot charges and my charger is made to push that much current into the battery.
I have 2 rechargable battery packs,1) 6V, 3200mAh2) 7.2V, 3600mAhQ1) Can I attach both of them in parallel (by first making sure they measure same volts at that time) because I was wondering, what would happen when I'll charge the combined battery !? as one of the packs can reach 7.2V, while the other 6V only. [if not, any alternate solutions?]Q2) Would I get a total power of 3200+3600 6800mAh ?Thanks.
NO, they are different voltages, what will happen is that the second will discharge into the first, until either one is discharged or the other is overcharged and damaged. If they were of equal voltage, you could put them in parallel, and perhaps you could charge in parallel, although that depends on the charger. It may be risky. Yes, in parallel, the mA-hours do add. No, no alternate solution, it just doesn't work. .
How to connect rc LiPo saddle pack batteries? Would you tell me?
You can buy some to test, generally it is banana adapter plug. Lol
i have just receved a venom racing 3000mah 7.2v 6cell battery pack. does any one know the charging rate?
Those batteries dont work on normal quick chargers. I suggest you have a peak charger. If you do, about 2.5 amps is what you want to put on it. Anymore and you will burn it up. And let it cool down after charging and after driving. I have seen too many people bring in their melted Nickle Metal packs. It is a good battery and will do what you want it to do.
I have a Canon Rebel T3i and an extended battery pack I want to keep on my camera. I tug and tug and tug to get it out of my current bag. (Some reason it goes in easily) A case logic, with a top opening to slide in the camera lens for separate keeping with my base. I typically keep a 18-200mm as my walk around lens, and would love to keep that attached as well. It's pretty much impossible to see if any cameras have battery packs on, in images provided while I online bag shop. Any bag I buy MUST be zip shut to keep out dust and dirt! Thank You!

I have the Canon Powershot SX30 IS, which came with a Canon Li-Ion battery pack. After a battery fiasco at the TXRenFest, I'm searching for good back up batteries. The battery pack that came with it is a 7.4v, 1050mAh, 7.8Wh. The Canon batteries are so expensive! I've found several others that range from $7 - $15 (Canon is $30 - $70).My question is, will using a non Canon battery hurt my camera?
I've used other brands for my Canon dslr cameras as well but now, nearly 2-years later, I'm beginning to have problems with them. One of them has swollen some and is too tight for the battery chamber. So I've gone back to Canon. I just bought 2 new lp e5 batteries refurbished from Amazon. They are Canon batteries so we'll see how refurbished holds up.
Does anybody know if you can hook a battery pack (jumperleads) up to a normal strand of fencing wire?
No you can't, your battery will short out.
