- Q:Okay, I really really want to get the scaffold piercing done. But what are your stories like? What does it feel like? What do you have to do when its done? How do you clean it? I just need help, im like really excited to get it done, but I'm not sure on all of the safety standards yet.
- particular, you ought to use 2 seperate barbells, yet whilst it heals, the perspective might exchange you won't have the means to place the completed bar via. I purely have been given my scaffold piercing accomplished a pair of month in the past. For me, the soreness become not something, it did not harm in any respect. yet, the soreness is distinctive for each guy or woman. you may exchange the barbell after it heals to 2 seperate rings, in case you like. This piercing is alot to shelter yet i'm happy I have been given it. wish this facilitates.
- Q:I need to rent a scaffle that is motorized so I can reach up to 16 ft
- your best thing to do is to look up in the phone book or Internet. there are lots of different companies that rent out lifts. Depending on where you live. I know of a few nationwide ones, Hertz for one. Just call the company and tell them you need a lift. if the work is to be done outside I would use a small boom lift, but if it needs to be done inside just a regular platform lift should do the job. they also come in gas, and electric but being that you only need one to reach 16 ft. you probably only need an electric, just be sure to charge it over night when you are not using it! You will probably have to make a credit card deposit also.
- Q:Is there a such thing as a scaffold fracture?
- Are you sure you didn't mean to say Scaphoid Fracture. The scaphoid process is a projection coming from your Scapula(shoulder Blade), that connects with the clavicle( )and humerus(arm). Hope this helps thanks.
- Q:A 56.0kg painter is on a uniform 23.5kg scaffold supported from above by ropes . There is a 5.0kg pail of paint to one side, as shown. How close to the end can he approach safely?
- Torques left, about right rope. Scaffold is 6m long. 23.5/6 = 3.91667kg per metre. 3.91667 x 5m = 19.58335kg/m. 5kg x 3m = 15kg/m. Total = 34.58335kg/m torque. Torque right. 1 x 3.19667 = 3.91667kg/m. Subtract right from left, = 34.58335 - 3.91667 = 30.6667kg/m can be applied by the painter. 30.6667/ 56 = .548 metre, the painter can move to the right of the right rope.
- Q:What are the requirements for the broken seam connection of bowl buckle scaffold. For example, both sides of the seam on the vertical pole is very neat, with steel pipe
- Scaffolding does not require the interface may not be in the same span, and the scaffold is not allowed to mix the length of the pole, must use the same height of the pole or cloth from the same pole, according to your description I guess you use is not the same as the length of the pole, or the use of ordinary steel pipe Mashup scaffolding. If the use of uniform specifications of the bowl buckle steel pipe should not be your problem.
- Q:Another from the ministry of silly questions…I’d like to support a lightweight tarpaulin over my back yard. Single slope, high side attached to the house and low side attached to a scaffolding pole, running horizontally between two walls. Fair weather, no high winds or pooling. The run of pole would be 8 meters. The longest poles seem to be 6m, so I need to use a coupling. Will this be strong enough – ish? I imagine the most stressed point would be just around the edges of the coupling, so If I used two joints/couplings in the bar, wouldn’t I half the strain on a single one? Also if I made the joints at 1m and 7m would that be better than to have a joint in the middle where the most flexing will be?Also bit more expensive, but with Aluminium the bar will be 20kg lighter – buy will it be as strong joint wise? Will a tubular coupling be as good as a external one?If anyone knows.. Thanks!
- The problem with your proposal is that you realise that the wind/rain could have an effect but chose to ignore the consequences if it occurs. 'Proper' scaffolding is designed and such an unsupported span would never occur in a 'normal' scaffold so the standard calculations would not work. There is also the possible effect on the walls, could they take an abnormal load? I would look at theatrical or music stage hire using trussed beams.
- Q:Wheel buckle scaffolding and bowl buckle scaffold which is faster and more convenient construction, where the quality of the quality of the scaffold
- Wheel buckle scaffolding, the use of the scope of its current mainly used in the construction of the internal support template, belonging to the internal support frame, the use of bowl buckle scaffold is more widely used in some of the housing construction, bridge engineering has its figure
- Q:I got mine done about 10 weeks ago, with the two rings either side of the ear to give it healing space, then about 2 weeks ago, got the bar put through it... but I still can't sleep/lie on it comfortably. How long after getting the piercing, roughly, have people been able to sleep on their without it hurting?
- It takes 6-12 months for a cartilage piercing to heal when done properly with a needle and double that time if a gun was used. I don#x27;t know why they pierced you with rings (should never be used in a scaffold#x2F;industrial piercing) and especially why they changed it to a bar so soon. You should have been pierced with a bar to begin with because changing the jewelry like that causes irritation and prolongs healing time. I think you need to find a different piercer.
- Q:A window washer is standing on a scaffold supported by a vertical rope at each end. The scaffold weighs 210 N and is 3.30 m long. What is the tension in each rope when the 690 N worker stands 2.30 m from one end?______ N (smaller tension)______ N (larger tension)
- assuming the scaffold is uniform weight, take moments around 1 end to get the tension in the rope of the other the ∑M = 0, take the rope tension direction as positive 690 x 2.3 + 210 x (3.3 / 2) = T1 x 3.3 T1 = 586N Now moments around the other end 690 x (3.3-2.3) + 210 x (3.3/2) = T2 x 3.3 T2 = 314N You can check your answers as ∑F = 0, so 586 + 314 - 210 - 690 = 0
- Q:I live on the second floor of an apartment building the scaffolding is all around the windows. When the men are working, they are just a few feet away! It's awful. Anyway to find out when this hideous mess will come down?
- Well on every building that has construction on it there's a little section that he paper work and permits all over it ( usually at street level) so I'm going to guess if you can obtain the constructions companies phone number from those paper you can call and ask when the scaffolding is coming down.
