It looks neater than a messy bed and it it's more hygienic. You are wrapping the clean bed so that it will remain clean until the patient uses it. Once it's been opened, its no longer considered clean because the bacteria can go onto the sheets.

Q:How do you get rid off bed bugs without calling the exterminator?

from experience in a hotel. guests were bitten during the night, anyway moved them and we investigated, they were at side of bed obviously come from some guest suitcase. well we were advised to bin all bed covers and bed and mattress, thoroughly clean room with disinfectant that was after fumergater came in and we left room for a couple of days for his stuff to work. hope this helps

Q:Does both of these beds require no bed box spring? I'm interested in building a nice platform bed and just wondering if these bed types are similar to a platform bed. Also anyone know of any sites that have good platform bed plans. Thanks in advance.

Sleigh beds and Mission beds refer to the aesthetics of the bed. Sleigh beds are reminiscent of (surprise!) sleighs, while mission-style beds are in the arts-and-crafts / clean lines / mission style. Mission would be a more appropriate style for a platform bed but either can be a platform bed if you wish, you just need to design it as such.

Q:Bed has a few holes and rust spots; some not easily fixed/filled... If not what's better; to build a wooden bed or just try to stop any more rust and get a bedliner? Opinions?

You can replace it yes. Mig weld the holes and resurface it and prep and paint. Bedliners made of black plastic just slip on or in are available and is the cheape$t way. A wooden bed looks like junk.

Q:I have an old mattress, an antique but in good shape. I have a foam topper on the top. Lately, I have been sleeping in another bed in the house (which is a waterbed) but last night did not do to outside noise (I am a severe insomniac). I was sleeping VERY well in this other bed but last night I woke up all night after sleeping maybe 10 minutes at a time. I have always thought my bed was comfortable but am wondering now if my insomnia could be attributed to my bed? Are the memory foam (non Tempur Pedic brand) good? I have seen one for my size bed under 400.00. What could be my problem? I wake all night.

I slept on foam for years...my bed was in a loft so stayed warm and toasty. I moved to another house and had my bed on the floor, was way cold so I bought a new bed, box spring and frame to get me off the floor...I was amazed at how much more comfortable I was and how much better I slept. I don't know about the memory foam you asked about...when I bought my bed I went to every store in town that offers bed sets, spent hours laying on different beds in the stores, found a knowledgeable salesman to ask questions and have been very very happy with my bed for the last 7 years.

Q:It's only 8:30pm, yet I feel exhausted and ready for bed. However, I never really go to bed this early. Should I just go to bed or wait another hour or two?Also, what time do you go to bed?

If you're tired, listen to your body and go to bed, silly. I physically get in my bed between 10 and 11 usually, sometimes 9 and then I watch TV until I fall asleep usually between 11 and 1.

At a wholesale club like Sam's club,you can find a Serta twin set for about $200. Serta mattresses are the best!
