Q:tanning bed precautions

i don't think its good for you when pregnant. it either says not to do so when pregnant or to consult a physician at one of the places i used to tan at. im not a doctor, but i dont see why it could harm your child. personally it couldn't be worse then smoking or drinking right? it might have to do with your skin while pregnant though. i read about some symptoms of pregnancy and you tend to get itchy skin and tanning could potentially make it worse. you could always ask your ob-gyn to be safe though, i would. =] snaps cassie has a valid point there. didn't think of that!

Q:i saw a question of someone finding a bed bug in there bed and now im to paranoid to go to bed because my matress is really old and has holes in it so it most likely is a breeding ground for bed bugs and i dunno what to do =O.

It might be a breeding ground for bed bugs if you had bed bugs, but unless you've travelled recently, you probably don't. Just because your bed is a little shabby, that doesn't mean bed bugs flock to it. They're just not very common. People believe they are, probably because they used to be, and people were probably told they were just a part of life, but that's not true anymore.

Q:If I steam every inch of my room with a steamer, as well as clean all my clothes, will I get rid of every single bed bug? When I say steam every inch I literally mean, under the box spring, under the bed, on top of the bed, on top of the box spring, the carpet, the closet etc. Will this help? Thanks an advance.

Q:I have a 14 month old baby and she is everywhere, climbing on tables, beds, everything! I've caught her a several times now almost climbing out of her crib, I think its dangerous and want to move her to a bed as soon as possible. Her crib is convertible and can turn into a bed but what is the normal age for a child to move on to a bed?

I guess it just depends on the parents, but I have 4 children and when they were about 2 years old I moved them to a toddler bed so they wouldn't climb and hurt themselves.

Well it wouldn't kill them, however it may not make them the happiest. i would suggest putting paper in a small corner that way if they wanted to they could find it there. hope this helps (:

i agree with kincaid and garden. my son is only 9 mos old and i wanted to get him a toddler bed (later) but once i thought about it i realized that by the time he's 2, i should just get him a twin bed. that way i don't have to worry about getting a twin bed later. kids grow so quickly, u may as well get a twin bed now. and not only that, you can get better bedspreads for the twin bed and do a cute theme for the room. the only way i would do a toddler bed would be if someone gave it to me for free.
