I have two platform beds and I love them. One of them has a conventional mattress on top and the other has an eight inch memory foam mattress. I wouldn't do a futon mattress. They are not all that comfortable.

A Twin bed room means that it has two single size beds. A Double room means it has a large double bed.

what a coincidence. my children are the same age! my three year old usually likes to go down around 8 or 7:45. My six year old goes to bed at 8:30 even on the weekends. That is just my child though. He loves sleeping and doesnt really find anything interesting enough past that time to stay up.

Hey okorder / Get a substance called Diatomaceous Earth but make sure its the food grade one (this is very important) and sprinkle this around the bed on a nightly basis if necessary Trust me, these steps are usually all you need to prevent another bed bug infestation on her new bed :) Good luck!

Q:they are 10 and 7. they have a hard plastic bed at the moment, is that good for them? because they dont seem to mind it.

I have 2 labs, 14 year old and a 2 y/o. they sleep in an open face kenel with a thick matt on the bottom and then 3 pillows for warmth and comfort. But seriously they are labs and would sleep anywhere.! My 14y/o sleeps on the concrete near the back door and i have to put him to bed every night. My 2y/o sleeps on the chairs (cause he can get up) but i put them to bed everynight. I think the reason i have got my 14y/o lab to that age is because i make sure their bedding is warm and soft so that i might be able to prevent arthritis setting in. By the way i have a Whippet pup that just turned 1y/o and i never have to put her to bed cause she aint crazy like the labs, she loves the cushy pillows and gets the best spot.!
