when you clean our your hamsters cage, make sure you put back food where they have stored it, hamsters hide their food and can get destressed when it has been moved!

One common natural remedy people propose for bed bugs is to leave things that are infested outdoors, hoping that either cold weather or the heat will kill them off. This is a remedy that will get you mixed results. For some people, it works very well - which is why people keep telling everyone to use it. Often, however, there will still be some alive even if you've put stuff out in extreme temperatures. Why? Because the temperature isn't evenly distributed, for one. Let's say you put a mattress outside in the winter. Parts of it will get very cold, especially the exterior. But inside, it wouldn't get that cold - and it might not be cold enough to get rid of them. For another, it takes pretty extreme temperatures - either above 120 degrees Fahrenheit or below zero. Q:My daughter is 3 years old, she still pees her bed at night, and we stop drinks an hour before bed or give her a SMALL sip before bed. Also take her potty before bed, sometimes she doesn't have to go and then she pees during the night.Is this normal?

It could be she's just not ready yet. I always give my 3 yr old daughter a drink before bed and send her to the potty and she doesn't pee in the bed, so I don't think I would worry about that. However, when my four yr old had just turned 3, he would pee in bed no matter how much he peed before he went to bed. It's just the difference in children, so don't worry if you're trying to compare her to other children her age. Just put her in pull up when she goes to bed, and when she's been consistantly not wetting herself for about a week, take them away and see how it goes. Before long this nightmare of changing sheets and cleaning the bed will be far behind you...I promise.

Q:I have three very lovely dogs, they?re not too big, but they like to sleep on my bed at night (even though they have very nice comfy beds for each one). The thing is that they go to bed to their beds and wait until my husband and I fall asleep to jump onto our bed and significantly reduce our sleeping space. Please help!!!

1. Teach an off cue and practice it all over the house, and with the bed at other times besides bedtime. Reward lavishly. 2. Teach a go to your bed cue, and practice it with the bedroom dog beds, at times other than bedtime. Again, reward well. 3. Practice having them stay on the dog bed for longer and longer times, again, not at night time. You might want to do Karen Overall's Relaxation Protocol which, among other good things, can help a dog learn to stay on a dog bed despite lots of distractions and temptations. Include your sitting on the bed, and lying down in it briefly,then for longer periods, as one of the distractions/temptations you present to your dog. Since it isn't your bedtime, if a dog jumps on the bed, just get out of the bed silently and walk away -- give attention/treats to a dog that's staying on a dog bed, if you'd like. You might want to put a cue on the final expectation to stay on the dog beds, like goodnight. 4. Go to bed early for the first few nights you want to enforce their getting off of your bed and going to theirs, so you have some extra time and aren't desperate to sleep. If a dog gets on the bed, tell him/her off, then go to bed (or whatever cues you've put on the actions), and toss a treat to the dog as he gets to the dog bed. 5. Keep tossing tiny treats to any dog who stays on a dog bed, for a while. 6. Repeat, if needed, until the dogs all stay on dog beds. If any of them seems to be developing a behavior chain (jump on the bed in order to be told to get off, and get a treat!), gently lead that dog out of the bedroom and close the door for a brief time. Then give the dog another chance.

Q:When are kids old enough to make their own bed?

It seems everybody else's kids started making their own beds around age 4 or 5. I am still waiting for mine to make their beds and my oldest is an adult... So, it's not all about age. It's about a parent's determination and patience to teach.

Q:I need to get 18 month old out of crib, for new baby due in 4 months. Have been looking at choices - toddler bed vs twin bed vs twin bed with trundle. Long term, feel like twin with trundle is the best, but have questions about trundle bed. Can I buy any twin bed, and then a pop-up trundle frame + mattress to roll under it, or do i have to specifically buy the sets that come together? do you put a bedskirt on the trundle to make it look nicer? any other tips about trundle beds to keep in mind?

I like women in jeans. It creates them look more home town like and it generally does not appear to be they try too much but if you are looking to get this folks attention, this might not exactly be what you would like

Yes. My son who is 2 fell of the bed a few weeks ago. There was four of us in bed and he fell out. He crieD when he fell out so I picked him up nd put him back in bed and he fell asleep. I felt terrible and couldn't sleep the rest of the night
