- Q:Can you burn amber resin in an oil warmer with a carier oil or something else?
- For a plainly offensive set, you can use Magmortar with Flame Body (Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Psychic, Focus Blast) or Darmanitan with Sheer Force (Flare Blitz, Superpower, Rock Slide, Thunderpunch).
- Q:Also known as a Temperature Dependant Resistor please could you also answer this question for split ring comutaters, THANKYOU!!
- I used to race motorcycles at Firebird Lake in Arizona. You have to wire the oil pan drain plug, axle plug and transmission fill plug for beginners. On a car, you will need a roll bar as well as a racing seat and harness and you will need an approved helmet and fire suit. You will be accepted with your side windows rolled down and opening taped. Most tracks will require your doors taped or strapped shut. And lastly you will need to remove your rear and side view mirrors. If you want mirrors they will need be NASCAR approved type. The modifications, helmet and suit should run you about $4000 new. You can get used for less than half that. One more thing. You will need racing car insurance coverage. In doing so, you will be alerting your current highway insurer. Expect your regular insurance rates to soar as that company will identify you as an insurance risk and your vehicle especially a high performance modified. My Yamaha XJ-1100 with aftermarket exhaust and Banks Supercharger did 173.68 MPH on the closed course. Could have gone faster, but not with me. I had a very distinct feeling the wind was going to blow me off. And indeed that has happened, not to mention tire traction is in mere ounces. Now if you're talking a drag strip, they allow amatures with stock. But you screwed up with a modified engine. Now you have to meet higher requirements. Amature stock, most require nothing at all. The drivers just remove their air cleaner for a better run and go.
- Q:Hey guys. Today I was at Oreilly auto parts, and I saw bulldog security alarm, my question is: Is it good brand and is this alarm system includes key less entry? I think models were: 2010 and 2030, price is around 38 to 52 $. I do appreciate your help. Thank you
- It smothers the fire. You need three things for a fire to work: fuel, air, and heat. Fires don't happen spontaneously, there has to be an ignition. Remove any of these factors and the fire stops. Water puts a fire out by radically cooling it off. There's a smothering action too, but in the case of grease fires, water doesn't work so well because grease floats on top of the fire. Once the fire is going, you've got a problem. You can put a fireplace fire out by knocking it apart. When _this_ burning log is no longer helping to heat _that_ burning log and vice versa, the two burning logs don't put out enough heat on their own to keep cooking off the fuel gases in the wood that keep the fire going, and the fire goes out. Another way to put a fire out is to throw dirt or sand on it. Fireplace ashes are extremely effective at this too, as they cling to surfaces better than dirt or sand. This does very little for cooling a fire, and it tends to hold the heat of the fire in on the burning members, which means there's a significant risk of reignition if the dousing medium is removed. But it does a very good job of blocking the fuel source from air. Thus starved, the fire goes out.
- Q:Are those objects waterproof
- A , the new K-Y Yours and Mine lube, rubber sheets, fuzzy handcuffs, a blindfold. And a nice cake.
- Q:it's messed up where it only plays the program that the 8 track is on over and over. I opened it up and got a little knowledgable on it. The rubber belt is fine, the part that reads the tape is fine, the roller is fine, but the part that clicks when you click the program button you can bearly see or feel, you can't take it apart to much it's mostly wood and it's weirdly manufactured , please ANY HELP, or DIY or possibly quick fixes I'd GREATLY APPRECIATE, if it's any help, it's a Sears stereo/ phono/ 8track the seriel is 400.91306 700. I thought if the program button didn't work, at least the 8 track would move itself to the next program but instead the same program plays OVER AND OVER AND OVER, ANY HELP is much appreciated! I will try and help you on any questions you may have! (If I'm knowledgable on the topic)
- 1) Calculate total volume of water that will go through resin in 30 days, and convert into liters: V 60 gal/day * 30 day * 3.785 L/gal 2) Calculate the amount of CaCO3 in this volume: mmol Ca V * (200 mg/L) / (formula weight of CaCO3) answer is in millimols 3) Calcium is divalent, hence 2 equvalents per mol. So take answer in (2), multiply by 2, then divide by the exchange capacity of your resin, and voila! the volume of resin needed for that shower-head.
- Q:I need to connect a 90 degree flexible rubber joint from a 2 steel pipe to a 1-1/2 abs fitting. I notice that the 2 to 2 flexible joint fits perfectly to the outside of the abs fitting. Can I fit the pipes like that? Otherise I need more adapters or a 2 to 1-1/2 flexible 90 degree joint, which they may not make. Room is scarce to none at all.
- there is a way to lock the sim card. many people do it accidentally. generally they need to go into the store to have it unlocked. only the compant has the unlock puk codes. one step you can take however is suspending your line when you find your phone missing, or, getting a new sim card. either oprion will disable the sim card in the stolen phone.
- Q:My fire extinguisher is full but it says its empty, i took it down and shook it and there stuff in it, is that normal
- ring finger and pinky should be taped. they are the weakest fingers and combined have better strength together. how ever u should not tape them cause u never know when u will need the extra length.
- Q:What is the difference between rubber roofs and the shingled roof?Which is better for the home?
- Mine are electrical too so they don't have a place for batteries. I would guess it's one of two things. One there's a short in the wiring somewhere or two there's smoke somewhere. My MIL used to flash fry everything. Though it was safely away from the stove it was so sensitive it would do these occassional beeps the whole time she was cooking. Plus it did it in the summer when there was a fan on because of something coming in from the outside. Since hers was battery operated we'd always turn them off except when gone or sleeping. Try covering both with a plastic cap. If it continues to beep it's in the wiring. Not very likely both units would be faulty at the same time. If there's a mouse or other critter in the attic he could've chewed the cord the detectors are faintly picking up the smell. Most of the time you can call the administrative number for the fire dept. they'll come out check it for free or at minimum tell you what could be causing it what to do.
- Q:I'm looking to find a place to rent, would you recommend propane? Why or why not?
- Gas, for one thing, is incredibly expensive for large vehicles like that. So they start with the average fuel cost for the trip. Then do some fancy math with the wage and infrastructure cost of the firefighters. Something like, yearly wages for the squad plus how much it costs to keep the fire hall running plus the maintenance and purchase of firetrucks, fire proof suits, oxygen tanks and refills, etc., and divide that by the number of calls per year.
- Q:It's probably a fake rumor but have you heard anything specific about it?
- The same thing used to happen to my little brother. If it's the same thing my brother had it's go away as he gets older. My brother is 18 now and it hasn't happened to him in 2-3 years. There is actually a prescription you can take to prevent it from happening at night. It's a fairly commen problem, so i would look up the exact statistics of adolescents that have bed wetting problems and explain that he's not the only person it happens and shouldn't be ashamed because it's likely some one he knows has the same problem. best advice i know to give..
