Solar radiation energy of 97% centered at a wavelength in the range of 0.3-2.5um, this part of the energy from the outdoor; long wave radiation energy below 100 DEG C objects are concentrated in 2.5um above, this part of the energy is mainly from the interior.

If the room is bounded words, winter or in high latitude area we hope radiation energy in outdoorand indoor radiation energy, do not leak. If the wavelength of the radiation as the boundary of words, indoor and outdoor radiation boundary point is at the wavelength of 2.5um. Therefore, the choice of a certain function of the chamber window becomes a key.

Ordinary transparent 3mm thick glass of solar radiation with 87% transmittance, daytimeradiation energy from outside but most through; but the night or cloudy and rainy weather, from indoor objects radiation energy absorbed by the 89%, so that the glass temperature, and thenthrough the dissemination of its heat to the interior and external radiation and convectionexchange. It is impossible to effectively prevent indoor heat to the outside vent.

Solar radiation Low-E hollow glass of 0.3-2.5um has a transmittance of more than 60%, the dayfrom the outdoor radiation energy can be most through, but the night and rainy weather, heatradiation from the interior of the object about 50% above by the indoor heat radiation is reflected back, only less than 15% of the absorbed by the by then after radiation and convectionexchange loss it can effectively prevent the indoor heat to the outside vent. This characteristic of Low-E glass, which has control one-way flow of outdoor heat effect.

Q:Like one big glass enclosement over a farm. It would allow light through, stop excessive rain and bugs from destroying food. They can control the amount of water the plants get. They would save millions
What do you think a greenhouse is, essentially? Greenhouses are basically a glass enclosure over a piece of land. Greenhouse growers control the environment just like you suggest, but it's not a panacea. Not only do insects and disease still get in, but it's very expensive to grow crops in greenhouses. Thats why you only see high-value crops grown in them. Things like veggies, ornamentals, etc. Crops like corn/wheat/soybeans? you'll never see them grown under glass on any kind of scale, it's just too expensive, relative to the value of the crop produced.
Q:What is the difference between structural glue and glass glue? What kind of glue does the mirror stick to the plate?
Glass glue is commonly known! We are called silicone sealant is divided into neutral and acidic after divided into weather and structural adhesive, neutral and alcohol type and ketoxime type. Alcohol-type dipping mirror is better not to spend! The ketone oxime type on the market is relatively cheaper because of the alcohol type! Structural glue is to do the structural use of the general are playing in the internal and other substances connected to the larger displacement of the smaller, weathering glue is also a sticky and weather resistance large resistance to plastic fatigue cheap! Mirror and wood stickers suggest that the use of weathering glue for the wood will shrink the structure of plastic small displacement of the mirror will be broken! Must be used alcohol-based weathering glue neutral acid will put the mercury corrosion took a mirror! Buy the glue to remember! You can glue directly with glue! But to know the silicone gel dry relatively slow enough to dry a week!
Q:I have been laid off my job of 26 years doing exactly this. I would like to look into teaching at a community college passing my skills onto others. Any advice? How much do you think I could expect to get paid? Thanks in advance!
For quickest assessment of opportunities, check out your future competitors. Find shops that now teach stained glass classes. See their brochures, ads and prices. Take from the best from several...then advertise around town using a simple 8 1/2 X 11 inch flyer placed everywhere...supermarkets, library, in free paper racks (stuff the copy into the Weekly) and on windshields. I went to a class a few years ago, and loved the course work. It was once weekly for 6 weeks. If you need help with ideas on advertisements that pop, go to Barnes & Noble and browse the slick AD trade Mags. Brevity and flair with harsh color contrast will likely click. Start a stained glass info-blog. Write an article about yourself, and this will be picked up by a Features Editor who realizes that the source for endless living beauty is found in stained glass. If you need forever-fuel to propel you...visit Florence, Italy. You'll probably stay there. Good luck!
Q:Can acrylic panels do roofing materials?
Using a new type of polyester material, by hot-forming or plane trim, metal base built-in light source, great visual impact. Weathering: panel coated with high concentrations of UV absorbers, metal base sprayed imported car paint, can be long lasting weather, never fade, the service life of up to 5 to 8 years. Durability: The product has a good protection against the built-in light source, extending the service life of the light source. Reasonable: rational design, rain and moisture; open structure, easy maintenance. Impact resistance: 200 times the glass product, almost no risk of fracture. Transparency: up to 93%, translucent excellent, soft light, bright. Flammability: Non-flammable and self-extinguishing. Aesthetics: exquisite craft, the whole font was mirror effect, the base without wrinkles, no seams, all riveting firmware is not exposed. Energy-saving: light transmission performance, the corresponding reduction in light source products, electricity, reduce the use of cost. Talk about plexiglass acrylic (acrylic) PMMA commonly known as plexiglass, also known as acrylic or acrylic, Hong Kong people called Acrylic, is an important early development of thermoplastic, with good transparency, chemical stability and weather resistance, easy to dye, easy Processing, beautiful appearance, in the construction industry has a wide range of applications. Plexiglass products can usually be divided into casting plates, extruded plates and molding compounds.
Q:I bought a tempered glass film online, but I will not paste, I will not paste around, how do?
First clean the phone screen, Mobile phone film is generally 3 layers, the need to paste the film is the middle of the outside, respectively, on both sides of the two, that is, 1 and 2. First look under the marked number 1, tear him, the middle of the film and the phone screen Alignment, press the (carefully Bubble, slowly scraping), paste after the removal of the other outside the outer membrane label 2, you can, how specific alignment of their own master, can not help you.
Q:Glass bottom margin of the final decoration surface is less than 500 hollow glass how to install?
Your insulating glass can not be regarded as a safe insulating glass, and if the building needs to comply with the "Building Safety Glass Management Regulations", such glass can not be used. If there is no strict requirements, from the perspective of building safety, only the safety glass (ie, tempered glass) one toward the outside, to prevent the outer film damage caused by serious harm to outsiders.
Q:I'm putting glass Block windows in my barn. A lot of them. I need to build all the openings first. When figuring out my openings I need to allow for the gaps between the blocks and around the edge. What should that gap be?
Glass masonry units are typically square, and are available in nominal 6, 8, and 12 in. sizes. Rectangular units are also available. Actual sizes are 1/4 in. less to allow for the typical 1/4 in. mortar joints. Unit thicknesses are either "standard" 3-7/8 in. or "thin" 3-1/8 in. or 3 in. for hollow units and for solid units respectively. Thin unit panels are typically used in residential and light commercial applications. For exterior applications you will want to add integral water repellents to the mortar to prevent water penetration. If you are talking about what size of an opening to use for your windows. That will depend on what the "rough opening" dimension is based on the window manufacturer. Typically is is 1 in. larger than the window size. This gives you 1/2 in. space all around the window for shims and alignment.
Q:Alright, so I want to build an under seat sub woofer enclosure for my smaller sports coupe. There's not much room at all under the seats, so I was thinking about going with a Pioneer 8" shallow mount sub, but the box is causing me a bit of a headache. I haven't had a chance to take a measuring tape to it, and doing so would be difficult. My idea is to get a can of the spray foam stuff used to seal homes, to inflate a garbage bag under the seat. After letting it sit and dry for a while, I'll remove the seat, pull the bag out with the exact dimensions of my seat and then play from there. I'll take the bag off of the foam and probably sand it down from there to fit my needs. I'll then use fiber glass to build up the box from the foam mold.Any thoughts on better ways to do this?PS: The car is a 2000 Mercury Cougar incase anyone has actual dimensions.
you can take the seat out and then use a think foil paper and line under the seat then put a thin layer of fiber glass then let it dry and go from there also. * remember when your using the fiberglass your also gonna want to put a layer of bondo to strengthen the box but you do have a good idea also what ever works.
Q:What is Article 20 of the Regulations on Safety Management of Building Glass?
