FAQ

whats filter ceramic?
The way you write that, it could be a ceramic filter for water or other liquid, which is a porous (unglazed) ceramic material. In electronics, a ceramic filter is a resonating ceramic element rather like a germanium crystal, which can be used to control frequency, or pass or block a narrow band of frequencies.
What are industrial ceramics, including what?
Industrial ceramics, that is, ceramics for industrial production and industrial products.(1), building sanitary ceramics such as tiles, pipes, tiles, wall tiles, sanitary ware, etc.; (2) chemical ceramics: for acid containers, various chemical industrial pipelines, towers, pumps, valves and masonry lined reactor acid brick, ash and so on; (3), chemical porcelain the boat used for: burning porcelain crucible and evaporating dish, chemical laboratory, research; (4): for the electric power industry, electric porcelain insulator high voltage on transmission line. The casing of motor in low-voltage electrical appliances and lighting, insulator pillar insulation, and Telecommunications insulator, radio insulator; (5), refractory materials, refractory material for a variety of high temperature industrial furnace; (6), special ceramics, special ceramics products thrown in various modern industrial and cutting-edge science and technology, there are high alumina ceramic, porcelain, stone magnesium titanium magnesium porcelain stone, zircon porcelain, porcelain, and lithium ferrite, metal ceramic etc..
What are the new ceramic products?
Four modern ceramics of high value:Temperature resistant ceramicsJapan developed a full enough high temperature above 1700 degrees Celsius. The composite materials, the alumina powder by melting, cooling, and aluminum is made, its high strength, good processing performance, do not change at high temperature.Luminescent ceramicsThe introduction of foreign market of luminescent ceramics, it is used to screen printing on the tile glaze surface in the funeral, the picture to decentralization occurs only under irradiation of ultraviolet fluorescent pigment, fluorescent pigment and thermosetting resin and the mixed heating or bake at 800 degrees Celsius for processing method, the ceramics used for indoor wall dotted with common decorative effect.
I still don‘t know the different if there‘s any.
the are specially design bikes
Is ceramic knife made of ceramic, so it is called "ceramic knife"?Or what's the reason?
The ceramic knife is made of high purity ultrafine zirconia powder as raw material, through spray granulation, isostatic pressing, precision machining and other manufacture process and has high hardness, strong corrosion resistance, good chemical stability, high wear resistance, high toughness characteristics, exquisite appearance, sharp edge, never wear a real sense, never corrosion knife.
I have just purchased a 100% ceramic plate flat iron, but i also heard about tourmaline straighteners. So which (in your opinion) is better, and why? do you know any specific details or information on these two different types?
Ceramic Vs Tourmaline Hair Straightener
Which is more expensive, ceramic perm or digital ironing? Which one is better?
In fact, ceramics are all hot and digital hot hot one, just as hot out of the flower type and it is not the same as the perm, into a hot and cold, the difference between them is that, blanching is soften your hair on paper, after heating, the shape of water, which will soften the hair perm is on the edge of the shape of water behind the paper, finally heating.
This is actually a material and manufacturing techniques question, but how do I attach ceramics to metal permanently, how does it come together and stay there? Is the ceramics heated up then poured or molded onto the metal piece and let cool? Any thoughts or speculations welcomed, thank you.
I would have to say that bonding the two materials would work best. One way is thermal spraying at high temperature as you suggest. Typically the metal base would be grit blasted to increase surface area for the spray to adhere. After spraying the ceramic coating the parts are introduced to a heat treat cycle to complete the bond. This bond becomes as permanent as possible. There is much more information on the web.
