Product Description

Refractory ceramic setter plates, high-tech products, are technical supporting parts for the high temperature furnace sintering. With the ceramic setter plates, the sintered products will be heated evenly. That will reduce energy consumption and accelerate sintering speed, improve yields

Product Feture:

* High corrosion-resistance.

* High mechanical strength.

* Lower possibility of crack by thermal shock.

* Longer service time

Properties of Alumina

Alumina has a high melting point, high hardness and high mechanical strength, although mechanical strength is reduced at temperatures above 1000°C. Due to the relatively large coefficient of thermal expansion, thermal shock resistance is reduced. Alumina is an electrically insulating material, with a high electrical resistivity, increasing with purity.Good chemical stability of alumina, leads to a high corrosion resistance. It is insoluble in water and only slightly soluble in strong acid and alkaline solution.

Q:Why do tableware usually use ceramics?
Use:1. ceramics for daily use: such as tableware, tea set, jar, altar and basin. Pots, etc..2. art ceramics: vases, sculptures, furnishings, etc..3. industrial ceramics: ceramics used in a variety of industries. It is divided into the following 6 aspects:(1) building a sanitary ceramic: such as brick, drain pipe, brick, wall tile, sanitary and so on;(2) chemical ceramics: acid resistant containers, pipes, towers, pumps, valves, and acid bricks, ash, etc. used in lining reactors;(3) chemical porcelain: Porcelain crucibles, evaporating dishes, burning boats, grinding bodies, etc. used in chemical laboratories;(4) electric porcelain: insulator used for high and low voltage transmission line of electric power industry. Bushings for motors, insulation for insulators, insulators for low-voltage appliances and lighting, insulators for telecommunications, insulators for radios, etc.;(5) refractory materials: refractory materials used in various high-temperature industrial kilns;(6): special ceramic, special ceramic products thrown in various modern industry and advanced science and technology, high alumina ceramic, porcelain, stone magnesium titanium magnesium porcelain stone, zircon porcelain, porcelain, and lithium ferrite, metal ceramic etc..
Q:in ceramics product
shivering: slivers of glaze shear away from the pot crazing: network of hairline cracks (glaze and pot have different thermal expansion) dunting: hairline cracks indicating glaze has been cooled too quickly pinholes: pinhole sized holes in glaze look also up : blistering and crawling
Q:Me and my husband are re doing our house so we can sell it. We have run into a little problem. We are having a hard time finding good ceramic tile and granite counter tops. We have a budget of 150,000 to redo this house that we bought. Keep in mind that it cant be very very expensive because we have to buy other materials. We just dont no where to buy this stuff. Does anyone know where a good place is to buy ceramic tile and granite counter tops? Also we are looking for real hard wood flooring?
Try your local Home Depot.
Q:I‘ve had ceramic braces since November last year and I‘m eating oranges right now.so I‘m just wondering.And by the way, I know that it‘s not the BRACES that actually stain its the liga-something or somewhat .
Oranges will stain the braces and the elastic very badly
Q:I was in Guangzhou, now need to find a place here to make a small works, with other ordinary glass bottle volume almost, if you count the cost of labor and materials, ceramic materials that are expensive or expensive glass material?
High raw materials, now glass art price is certainly not low, at least with ceramic nanfenbozhong.In short, there are many other factors that determine the price,The key is you want to show what the state, time is sufficient, the price may not be decisive factor. The basic characteristics of glass is exquisite, clear, delicate, exquisite, (also can make coarse effect), ceramic from fine to coarse, differ in thousands.Conclusion: materials should be determined as needed....
Q:What is a vitreous ceramic cooker?
Ive had a ceramic hob for years I like it a lot. It heats up quicker than other electric rings but not as quick as gas ones. Its VERY easily cleaned. The only downside is that pans have to be flat so they have good contact with the ring. It's no good having cheap pans which bevel easily. They just take longer to cook, waste energy. The hobs are toughened glass so I suppose thats what vitreous means.
Q:I have natural hair and I‘m interested in wearing it straight, I‘ve invested in a ceramic flat iron and I‘m very happy with the results but within a hour my hair reverts back to an afro. Is there a product that I can use to prevent this?
Here's a dirty secret, you would have to use an alcohol based product to reduce reversion. Products like Matrix Sleek.look Iron Smoother, Paul Mitchell Heat Works spray, or hairspray that contains alcohol would work. To lessen the chance would dry out your hair, you would need some cream like Elasta QP Mango Butter , Matrix Sleek.Look Extreme Creme. You can try Silk Elements Thermal spray (available at Sally's Beauty Supply), Beyond the Zone Turn up the Heat spray (same place), or Fantasia IC Heat protecting serum or spray (in a pink bottle). I hope this helps.
Q:Ok so I want to major in ceramics with a possible minor in dance. What can I do with a ceramics major? Do i need to double a major in education to be allowed to teach ceramics or be an art teacher?
Ceramics means either 3D art (pottery and sculpture) or scientific ceramics work (like manufacturing tiles and Space Shuttle protection) You apparently want the former. But if you want to be a teacher, then you have to have the courses to support it - not a double major as you don't get that many hours - and you need to look at what gets hired before you plan your career - perhaps by talking to counselors at your school. Plus ** (below) And I will tell you why - because of my devious path through several colleges, I am certified as a secondary teacher in Texas in English, Math, Physics and Drama. Could I teach any or all of those if I wanted to teach? Nope. Several combinations get shot down - Drama won't get me hired because those teachers almost always also do Speech and I don't have that. Similarly, most Physics teachers also do Chemistry, which I don't have. And it turns out that getting the English major I was strong on writing (especially drama) and weak on Literature, which gets noticed on the transcripts during hiring (or when I get to teaching.) ** And what will your path be through college? - Dance at any serious level requires lots of hours of practice and much of that is treated like lab hours - half credit. And ceramics as an intensive in an Arts major is also going to require studio work beyond the studying you will have to do for history of Art to make you a more rounded graduate. You need to look at what is required in each of these fields by the schools - visiting and talking with students of at least one to see the hours involved.
Q:my friends all say that ceramic bearings make you go faster and perform better, but i say they make little or no difference. Whose right? what are the pro‘s and con‘s on ceramic longboard bearings?
Ceramic's wont melt at 50+ mph speeds. That's the only difference they are Down-Hill race bearings.
Q:im trying to decide between getting ceramic brackets with a wire or just plain metal with no colors
I have ceramic right now (for the second time). The ones I got are stain proof. The only thing that colors them is mustard, but I just rinse my mouth out and they are white again. I have metal on the bottom ones though. Metal ones are smaller but show up more and tear my mouth up easier where as ceramic does not. They are about the same price. Advice:: ALWAYS wear your retainer at night. Do not believe the orthodontist if he says its only temporary. That is why my best friends and I are getting braces,,,,again Edit: Do not get those Fast Braces. I have talked to orthodontists and they say those are so bad for your teeth because the shift is not gradual and can damage nerves and such.
