Q:why do we need to recycle metals ?
Death metal hands down,There are soo many reason's why i love it.The complexity of the guitar[s],Melody of the bass,The sheer power of the drumming and the PURE bruatality of teh vocals but In DM i don't look at the vocals as a 'lyrics distributer' as i look at it more of an instrument itself . I found out something interesting,if the band name[logo] is all crunched up together that means the band is awsome :P BUT i also really like BM but most of the time i don't like bm bands is the vocals, there are some that are unique and powerful. Fav DM (l'll name a few): Necrophagist Psycroptic Bloodbath Deeds of flesh Jungle rot Fav BM : Emperor Rotting christ Dark Fortress
Q:Explain how a pure metal is held together. (Include a definition of a metallic bond in your explanation). I'm not so worried about the information in the parenthesis but I do need to know how a pure metal is held together. The more detailed the explanation the better.
If you're digging melodic and folk music, I think you want to go much older with your metal. I'm talking old blow-the-dust-off-it stuff here: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Sabbath, even Zeppelin, and see what that does for you. That stuff is actually very folk-influenced itself, and involves much more melody than any of the 'core' genres. Honestly I don't know how people keep up with all these labels nowadays. Post-hardcore, deathcore, snotcore, rapcore, discocore, etc. must get really confusing. Back when those old dogs were doing it (even though most of them are still doing it), it was just called rock or heavy metal and that was that. Anyway, give the dinosaur-core stuff I mentioned a listen, and see if it lights any fires for you.
Q:Can any modern metal detectors (civilian or otherwise) estimate the amount of metal it is detecting? If this is true, can it also detect the amount of each individual metal it detects?Example: If a penny was buried, could a metal detector tell the user that it detects X amount of copper, etc?
First metal song you ever heard? (my fears have become phobis - ABRB) First metal album you ever bought (lamb of god - sacrament) First death metal song you ever heard? (cry of the blackbirds - amon amarth) First death metal album you ever bought? (still a death metal album virgin) First thrash metal song you ever heard? (are you dead yet? - children of Bodom) i don't get all these metal sub genres... ( >.< )
Q:What are some good Symphonic Metal bands?A list would be nice,if you can.
That's great.
Q:between metals and non metals?
Thrash Metal and Speed Metal
Q:I hear about all sorts of genres of metal, and don't particularly feel like looking them up on wikipedia. Can you give me general characteristics/definitons about, but not limited to:Black MetalDeath MetalExtreme MetalPower Metaland could you also give me some really good examples of each? Thanks! Also, any other genres of metal you feel like defining would be much appreciated. Thanks again!
All cheaper, non-precious metals are called 'base metal'. That includes copper, brass, bronze, pewter, iron, tin, zinc and so on. Precious metal are gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium and a few others. Metals are 'precious' because they are rare (expensive), beautiful etc. A lot of base metal is very beautiful on it's own (I love solid copper and brass/bronze jewelry), but most commercially available base metal jewelry is plated (with gold or rhodium/silver) to look like precious metal. That's where the problems start. The plating wears off after a short while and the base metal starts being visible. If it is pinkish, it is copper. So, as far as I am concerned, you are fine if you buy solid base metal. That way, the base metal is polished and sealed (check out the link below for some shiny copper earrings) and you can clean it to a bright color. It's the plated metal, I would stay away from, especially for a ring.
Q:it's juz that i read somewhere that it's the seed 2 black metal, n that death metal = black metal. n that black metal could bend ur faith or something like that. really, anyone offended by this q, i'm so sorry, but i juz need an answer that could, well.. satisfy my curiosity.after all, u ppl have better judgement on this than i am.
Power metal and thrash metal and just a question for the one who brought up post-metal: excluding Russian Circles, who are really just heavy post-rock, would you really say that Isis, Pelican, and Neurosis have little in common? I've heard far too many people call Isis a blatant Neurosis ripoff, and Pelican an blatant Isis ripoff to buy into that.
Q:Who killed the metal?
Metal Gear Solid HD will keep you entertained for months, being that each game is pretty long. However, if you're an online player, go for Twisted Metal, as the online on it is pretty fun (or so I heard).
Q:What is the process to recycle metal?
hmm well this is like goth/fantasy metal (not gonna strive for a perfect label but just describing it) kinda like evanescence or lacuna coil but a bit more fantasy oriented. im more into other types of metal, but this is pretty good. liked the song.
Q:It sounds rather metal to me, but I'm not a musician or even a huge music lover. I am merely a casual listener. Why is nu-metal not considered metal?
by pop bands you mean Kiss? Some folks think they're metal.
