65 18650 lithium battery how to spell 12V battery pack?
Composed of 12V lithium battery pack, according to the individual lithium battery voltage, you can use three, or four, assuming that four, after the series can be composed of a lithium battery string.
I need some advice on upgrading the electrical power on my .46 Hobbico Nexstar. Here's the situation: the battery I'm using right now is a Futaba 4 cell 4.8v that's about 3 years old. But it's kind of on its last legs- I charged it throughout the night, but it was dead when I got to the field. I still was able to quik-charge it up to 5.4 volts, and got 3 short flights in without any trouble. Now I charged it fully, and the reading is 5.52. Some people say it's the battery- others say it's the at-home charger (3 years old). Either way, I want to be sure that I'm not going to have one of those instances where the plane loses electrical power in midair and you can only watch helplessly as it keeps on going. What kind of battery should I go with? Charger?
Get two new battery packs, a good quality charger, AND a battery cycler. The problem with most rechargables is 'partial charge memory'. NiCad or NiMH battery packs usually never really get totally discharged after a series of flying and begin to develop a short charge or partial charge memory. Useful output diminishes over time and the packs require CYCLING. Cycling is a regimen of totally discharging and recharging 3X. DO NOT TOTALLY DISCARGE LiPo packs, you'll kill them. Only do this to NiCad and NiMH. You can make a cheap discharger from a few 6vdc or 12vdc automotive turnsignal bulbs soldered to gether in parallel with a pack connector. Just plug it in and the bulbs will draw down all the power in your packs before recharging fully with your new peak charger. Hobbico has a nice little unit called a Field Charger. Good Luck! Nosedive
I have been having some controller/charger/battery problems to the point where it doesn't work anymore (plus many other reasons), and I decided to go back to the more primitive time of using AA battery packs, which DON'T have AS MANY ware/breaking/degrading/destruction over time problems as the rechargeable get over two years of occasional playAnyway, is there ANY place to buy battery packs for the 360 that require AA's? I'll probably call Microsoft if there isn't any I already sent an e-mail in p
try wal-mart or OKorder.
Will ups battery backup time how to count?
Battery capacity * Number of battery blocks * 12 * 0.8 / total power = backup time.
I have one of those sealed battery/jumpstart boxes that I use to jumpstart a car when the battery dies. This is what I normally do to jumpstart a battery.1) I plug the batterypack into a wall outlet, let it charge overnight.2)The jumpstart box has a red and black clamp that I place on each terminal of the battery.3) The jumpstart box has a dial that once everything is clamped onto the battery, I turn the dial to jumpstart and then start the car.4) After car is started, I turn the dial off, remove the clamps from the battery and Im done.My QUESTION is as follows. I have been working on my car for over a month and the battery has been out of the car. At this stage, Im almost positive that the battery will almost if not completely dead.Is it ok for the car battery to remove it from the car completely, hook up the clamps to it from the jumpstart box, turn the dial over to jumpstart and just let the battery charge? If Yes, how long should i leave them on.ty
It might work,,i personally cant see why not. The jump start pack u have is really a rechargeable drycell in a plastic box. the ''switch'' actually connects the jumper wires to the drycell. the charger is really just a small trickle charger,,,of the same type u can buy online for $10. So it should work with no problem.
if i recharge the battery will the message go away?canon sd450
yes because then your batteries will be full so it will only pop up if they are low.
How much battery life does a flip camera battery pack have when fully charged?
It depends how you use the camera, what video quality option you selected in the camera and a few other items. In the Flip's manual there is a table that shows how long the battery will last This information from Flip is also helpful (scroll down a little) www6.nohold /CiscoFlip/ukp.asp
I foolishly burned out 2 green LEDs already since I provided too much voltage. The 2 green LEDs I need to light up have a forward voltage of 3.2 volts each. The battery pack has 3 AA rechargeable batteries, for a total of 3.6 V(1.2 V per battery). If I remove one battery, the LEDs won't light up at all. How can I reduce the voltage so it doesn't burn out my LEDs, do I need to use a resistor or can I use something else? If I need resistors, what kind of resistors should I use?
The other posters gave you the math - a good thing But this LED calculator may come handy as well metku /?sectviewn
