- Q:What cause these lights to blink?
- There probably a bulb that is clear with a red tip that causes the string to blink.
- Q:Is this light suppose to stay on. Same question for Air bag light. This is also stays on. Neither light turns off.
- ETS is your traction control system. If your airbag light stays on then there is a problem. Your car is trying to tell you that there is something malfunctioning with the airbag system. It will tell you more in your manual about that; if your airbag light remains on. It may be nothing, just a glitch or something like that. Take it to your local Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts and they will do a free scan diagnostic to see what is wrong. Same for your ETS light. Mechanic will probably charge you for a scan though. Is your traction control system on? If it says TRAC OFF your system is off. Press the ETS button to ingage the TRAC system.
- Q:I have a 98 Chevy Malibu. The brake lights and turn signals work. The rear tail lights (running lights) don't come on. Any ideas?
- Its possible you have just a bulb issue. Note this was a bad design GM used on these cars overtime the whole tail light/signal board shorts out. Due to water rain water seeping in and causing corrosion.
