im not sure about the iphone coming out with a new one this year but one thing for sure is sony ericsson xperia x1 is using WM maybe version 7.0 also an interesting phone to look out for would be samsung f480, nice touch on the interface. and theres also the nokia n96, which is going to be loaded with features again, unfortunately, the UI of the Symbian s60 is kind of boring now compared to xperia and f480.

My BlackBerry Storm, which is a fantastic phone, has far less life than my previous BlackBerry Pearl - the Pearl would last four to five days, the Storm barely two. Doing things like reducing the backlight level, keeping Bluetooth off unless needed, not playing games or music etc., can extend it, but really the simplest thing to do is buy a second battery. I bought a second battery for emergency use and rotate it every week or two, plus when I am in the office I plug it into a Amzer docking cradle which also charges my spare battery.

In addition every wonder how many cell phone towers you cell phone will connect to with the height advantage. According to the FCC several towers at once causing other problems. Besides how important is your personnel call on an airplane when it comes to everyone’s safety. I don’t want to be sitting with a load mouth person yapping on a cell phone, its bad enough on the ground.
