Q:is ferrous Gluconate which is an iron supplement equal to 27mg of iron safe to take?
Why aren't you taking a standard prenatal vitamin which has iron in it? They are available at all pharmacies. I would not take anything else unless ordered specifically by your doctor or you discuss it with the pharmacist. Too much or too little of many vitamins can cause birth defects. This is far too important to take lightly. Pick up the phone and ask. Good luck and God bless you and the baby!
Q:I do not give the jar meat she eats what we eat and we eat meat about 4 times a week she fats around 25 oz of alimentum formula idk how else to get her iron up. My iron is always low also we are both very pale skinned any advice on what else to do
Their are many foods rich in iron that you could add to her regular diet to supplement what she is getting from the meat. I have low iron all the time too, and its mostly cause i eat like no meat.not vegetarian i just dont really like it so i try to eat alot of dark green things and and meat replacement like beans and such. beans, including kidney, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans, and lentils greens, including collard greens, kale, mustard greens, spinach, and turnip greens tofu broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, watercress, brussel sprouts Those are a few i pulled off that website that are foods high in iron other than meats but there are quite a few resources out their for cooking iron rich. You could also go with iron fortified foods with an artificial iron but that doesnt tend to digest in the body as well as a natural iron. I hope you can get it figured out.
Q:You have a spool of wire, a glass rod an iron rod and an aluminium rod. Which rod should you use to make an electormagnet to pick up steel objects? Explain
Iron. Electromagnets are usually in the form of iron core solenoids. The ferromagnetic property of the iron core causes the internal magnetic domains of the iron to line up with the smaller driving magnetic field produced by the current in the solenoid. The effect is the multiplication of the magnetic field by factors of tens to even thousands.
Q:I take 420mg a day (210mg twice a day). How much more would you have to take to have a fatal overdose? I heard it‘s quite easy to overdose on iron so just wondering. Also i‘m 15 if age makes a difference.
Iron overdoses are based on the elemental iron content. Ferrous fumarate is 33% elemental iron so your 210mg tablet is only 70mg elemental iron, or 140mg per day. Signs of overdose begin with doses of 20mg/kg. So, if you weigh 50kg, you would need more than 3000mg of ferrous fumarate tablets. Your daily dose isn't even close.
Q:Hi I have low Iron in my blood. And I was wondering if it‘s bad. My doctor said my Iron was on the low side. He advised me to take Iron pills but I rather not. I can still get more I ron to my blood from eating high in iron foods a lot right? Oh and can you name me some no too fatty or fat free iron foods please. I‘m a bit worried.
raw spinach or broccoli are great sources of iron which have no fat. Meat also has iron but obviously that's pretty fatty. Most green, leafy vegetables have iron. I eat a spoonful of molasses every day to keep mine up because I don't like iron pills. It's bad that you don't have iron in your blood because the iron in your blood is what carries the oxygen around in it to your tissues so if you don't have enough iron you might not be getting enough oxygen or your body might have to work harder to get the oxygen that it needs. This can make you feel weak or tired. It can also make you bruise more easily. But yeah, you can skip out on the pills usually if you eat lots of green, leafy vegetables and occasionally some meat.
Q:okay so i started takeing these iron pills about a week ago. They are called iron-rich, high potency, IRON, 27mg i feel really weird after i take theselike i start getting very weird thoughts (ex; suicide dying )and like my head goes blank.and i get a bit hotter.[is this normal ?
hi, I also just started taking an iron supplement because I was told by my doctor that I have an iron deficiency. When I went to the pharmacy they gave me a 18 mg one, and the pharmacist told me that that's the normal dosage and that you should be careful with iron because it is very strong and potent. I think that your dosage is probably too strong, I think you should stop taking them and talk to a doctor or a pharmacist. good luck
Q:What is the best hot iron you know of?? under 150?????
Rusk have to buy in salons
Q:i have a new fish tank and i read something about iron so i was wondering is iron important for fishlike why do fish or its habitat need iron??
Just to reiterate what Ian has stated, don't worry about iron. A quality fish food will provide all they need. The only time you need to worry about iron is if you have a heavily planted aquarium under moderate to high lighting. And even then, it's not a fish health issue, it's a plant health issue. Too much iron in your water can also be toxic to fish, invertebrates, and plants. There's an interesting relationship between heavy metal toxicity and water alkalinity. Which probably doesn't mean a whole lot to you, but it's another reason to not worry about adding iron.
Q:What causes iron in water?
The main naturally occurring iron minerals are magnetite, hematite, goethite and siderite. Weathering processes release the element into waters. Both mineral water and drinking water contain iron carbonate. In deep sea areas the water often contains iron fragments the size of a fist, manganese and small amounts of lime, silicon dioxide and organic compounds. Iron is applied worldwide for commercial purposes, and is produced in amounts of 500 million tons annually. Some 300 million tons are recycled. The main reason is that iron is applicable in more areas than possibly any other metal. Alloys decrease corrosivity of the metal. Steel producers add various amounts of carbon. Iron alloys are eventually processed to containers, cars, laundry machines, bridges, buildings, and even small springs. Iron compounds are applied as pigments in glass and email production, or are processed to pharmaceutics, chemicals, iron fertilizers, or pesticides. These are also applied in wood impregnation and photography. Aluminum waste products containing iron were discharged on surface water in the earlier days. Today, these are removed and applied as soil fillers. Iron compounds are applied in precipitation reactions, to remove compounds from water in water purification processes. The 59Fe isotope is applied in medical research and nuclear physics.
