CNBM Moly Solar Panel 240W A Grade with Factory Price

Production description

A solar panel is a collection of solar cells. Lots of small solar cells spread over a large area can work together to provide enough power to be useful

however, problems such as shadow effects can shut down the weaker (less illuminated) parallel string (a number of series connected cells) causing substantial power loss and possible damage because of the reverse bias applied to the shadowed cells by their illuminated partners. Strings of series cells are usually handled independently and not connected in parallel, though (as of 2014) individual power boxes are often supplied for each module, and are connected in parallel. Although modules can be interconnected to create an array with the desired peak DC voltage and loading current capacity, using independent MPPTs (maximum power point trackers) is preferable. Otherwise, shunt diodes can reduce shadowing power loss in arrays with series/parallel connected cells.[citation needed]

Q:Are solar panels only effective in places where there is an abundance of sunlight?
Solar panels work in sunlight, so obviously the more sunlight, the more power. However, ironically, solar panels don't like heat, so they work better in the cold. Higher altitudes often have more sunlight, due to less crud in the atmosphere, and are often colder than lower altitudes, so you will often get better performance in higher locations. We have solar systems working in every continent in the world, including near both the north and south pole.
Q:Hey. I need some help with solar panels and batteries :) Please see the detailed version beneeth :)?
One lithium cell requires 4.2V to obtain its full charge, Never exceed 4.2V ! Output from solar panel if below 3.7V , nothing charge to lithium. Total charging time until the cell is full depending on the AH rate of cell and the charging current that solar panel can be provided. Suppose cell is rate 5AH, and the charging current from solar panel under full sun shine can maintain 0.5A ( use solar panel short circuit current rate from its specification as a reference ) , hence, 0 hours is enough. And be sure the solar panel can maintain 4.2V output at 0.5A . Remember, over charge lithium cell one time might reduce its life into half . Therefore, let the solar panel output passing through a precision regulator to maintain output is 4.2V is the best way, because, as cell reaches 4.2V , no more charging current is forced into cell ( automatic stop charging ). If you do not have the knowledge to make this simple variable voltage regulator with LM37K ( if you choose this way, buy solar panel output has at least 2V) , you may choose to do it manually by install a current meter and a variable resistor in series between the panel output to cell. By adjust the value of resistor, charging current can be controlled ( if you choose this way, buy solar panel output has as less as 6V ). Count the charging time with a clock and adjust the charging current from time to time to maintain 0.5A .

Q:Solar Panel and Wind Power?
I live in the Southwest where the sun shines almost every day. I got a quote for Solar system to produce about enough to cover my annual usage. My annual average electrical usage costs about $2300, or about $90/MO. The system costs around $30,000 but I can get rebates and some of your tax dollars in subsidies to bring my cost down to under $20,000. I can borrow $20,000 for 3 years at 7% and pay $95/MO, so in 3 years I will have the system paid for. As you can see, I don't start Saving any money for a long time. Maybe the rates will go up in later years which will help, but My friends that have solar systems tell me things like controllers go bad over time and they cost like $3000. Will it ever pay for itself? Maybe. Please note. This still does not get me off the grid. This system will not support things like an electric stove, air conditioning, Pool pump running, etc. so I still need the grid for when these operate and my usage peaks. If I installed a system that would totally support everything 24/7 the cost would be astronomical. If you live in the east, midwest, or NW where you have cloudy days, your economic calculations will be much less favorable I would think, unless your power costs are much higher than mine..
Q:Power tester for solar panel?
Voltmeter.
Q:What is the principle and structure of solar panels?
inverter: solar direct output are generally 12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC. In order to provide power to 220VAC appliances, it is necessary to convert the DC power from the solar power system into AC power, so it is necessary to use DC-AC inverter.
Q:Are solar panels worth it?
I say yes, I had a system put in a few months ago. I paid $6K and my utility paid $0K. I should break even in about 6 years. The system is guaranteed for 25 years, so I will have at least 9 years of free energy. I went from a bill of around $200 per month to under $20 in the summer. I will pay a little more in the winter months because less daylight, but I don't use as much energy in the winter. Each year electricity goes up an average of 5%, so while my neighbors have a larger bill each month, I'll be staying under $50 for a long time. Even without the rebate I would have a break even time of about 0 years, still 5 years of free energy.
Q:How much should a 00 watt solar panel cost?
Hello, Solar panels range from 200 to 400, depends on where you get them from. I got a good setup from iron edison which came delivered. I bought a 00 watt solar panel for $225, upon opening the delivered package, it was a high quality, clean cut panel that really obliged me to power it with a high quality battery. So I searched all over the place for HIGH quality solar batteries/asked many people, and came across VMAX solar batteries. These are top of the line, they have the best lifespan out of all the batteries I've tried and have been buying them from Bargainshore for years now. I recently bought more panels and used the the same setup, couldn't be happier! Goodluck!
Q:I would like some info on Solar panels and Wind Generators...please?
I okorder.com... to size a system for your home. There is a link on the page to a world solar insolation map so you know how many sun hours you have per day on an avg. Should not take you more then a half hour to get a good idea of what it will cost you and which package system should work. Good luck on going green and don't let the Oil and Nuke people bring you down. They are just looseing money when you make your own power and their nuke power plant goes off line and not replaced. Some one above said solar cost more.. That is not true. I don't know about other countries but here the cost of living is about 3.5% per year so it is compounded each year. Then there is the rise in fuel cost which is 6.5% per year which will increase. But think about it you are buying 30 years of electric for 34000 dollars. If your electric bill was at current prices 00 dollars a month you would pay 36,000 dollars in 30 years. Now add in the 3.5% cost of living compounded each year for 30 years and the fuel increses . You will pay the public utilie 00,000 in that time frame
Q:solar panels and calculations?
The okorder.com The reference section has all the formulas you are looking for and there is a list of dealers by state, plus various state rebate information. Yes, you can hook up different panels to the same system. There are special controllers that regulate the voltage. I'm more of a hands on nuts and bolts guy so I can't help you with the formulas and engineering explanations. Another great place to get information is Home Power Magazine. You can get the issues online or in print. Thanks for going solar!
