Brief Introduction of Calcium Silicate
calcium silicate is commonly used as high temperature insulation materials. It is white, asbestos free, rigid. Industrial grade piping and equipment insulation is often fabricated from calcium silicate. Calcium silicate competes in these realms against rock wool,perlite mixture and vermiculite bonded with sodium silicate.It is manufactured and sold in three different forms: preformed block, preformed pipe, and board.
