FAQ
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on golf courses or recreational facilities. These locations often have vast open spaces with ample sunlight, making them ideal for harnessing solar energy. Additionally, installing solar panels in these areas can help offset the energy demands of the facilities, reduce carbon emissions, and promote sustainability.
- Which of these units determines how much electric energy a solar panel can generate?
- Have okorder . It might surely benefit anyone!
- I am in the market for buying a home. There is one for salke that actually has solar panels on top. How are they used? Do you need to pay for gas and electric still. Does it really light up the house and keep it warm. WHat about the AC keeping hte house cool in the summer does it work for that too? Please explain in solar for dummy terms. I haveno clue about solar panels other thatn the fact that it needs sunlight to run.
- well see a house can totally depend on solar energy (solar panels) but u will still have to pay the electricity bill because if the solar panels dont work u will have a back up,eg like in winters when it snows , it can cover the solar panels or during the winter seson when it is cloudy or snowing the sunlight can not reach the solar panels because of which they can not charge. but on the other hand because of the solar panels the bills will be decresed and u will have to pay only a small amount. I HOPE I WAS HELP FULL
- Yes, solar panels can be used for charging batteries. Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity, which can be stored in batteries for later use. This makes solar panels an effective and sustainable solution for charging batteries, especially in remote areas or during power outages.
- how much electricity will produce in Kwh by a 000 W solar panel in a sunny tropical area per day (good sunlight at least 0 hour a day)
- Solar cell has efficiency from 0% to 5% max. That is the technology we have as for now. It stated 000W, that means it could provide 000W under fully super condition . KWH is not a unit to rate solar panel, it was used for wattmeter that company installed in every house to monitor electricity usage.
- I was trying to figure out if I could run an electric heater off of a solar panel, but I don't understand these electric convertion factors and stuff. Would it work? (I know it'll only work in the daytime and stuff.)SOLAR PANELPeak Power 95W PTC Watts 73.0WVoc 30.7VPeak Voltage 24.4VIsc 8.6APeak Current 7.96A HEATERInput: 20 V/60 Hz ,500 W/5,200 BTU
- Watts = Volts * Amps Your heater needs at least 500 watts of AC power. The solar panel only produces about 200 watts of power ( 24volts * 8amps). Not enough to run the heater. Also, the solar panel produces DC current, not the AC current that the heater needs. However, if you had solar panel that produced enough power (watts), you could buy a transformer to turn the panel's DC output into the required AC output. But that doesn't seem like a real cost-effective plan.
- Do LED lamps ever go bad? What's the life expectancy of solar panels?
- LEDs last approximately 50,000 hours of operation, continuous or non-continuous, it doesn't matter. 50,000 hours. Solar panels will, theoretically, last until the end of time. The support structures will fail long before the panels themselves. Inverters, battery banks, op-amps, transformers, control boards, etc. will all fail long before a solar panel stops making juice.
