- Q:Can someone give me a brief run through of how to calculate soil excavation as my searching on the net is proving unsuccessful. The area is 180x60x6 which equals 64800m3. The bulk factors are 1.3 for clay and 1.15 for fill material. The excavator has a peak output of 180 cubic meters per hour. What is the sum to incorporate the bulking factors into the equation to get a more realistic load of soil that needs to be excavated. Thanks
- It seems the question is not complete, I think the ratio of clay and fill material is required, the bulk factors here is the clay density which is 1300 kg/m^3 , and fill material is 1150 kg/m^3 . As the total soil volume is 64800 m^3 and excavator efficiency is 180 m^3 per hour , then the total time is 64800/180 = 360 hours
- Q:a portion of an ancient skeleton haas been uncovered in asia. since the skull is missing, the discoveres can not determine whether the skeleton is from a human or some type of ape. the only portions that the excavators have been able to find are the pelvis and one complete leg. what should they look for?this is not true lol, just a skeletal discussion question in anatomy.
- Its kind of unclear what the question even is. Are you supposed to describe how you would determine whether the skeleton is a modern human based on the post-cranial skeleton only? Next time be more clear. 1) A human *is* an type of ape. Take a close look at human taxonomy. We're part of the superfamily Hominoidea - the apes. 2) If you need to determine whether the skeleton is from a H. sapiens, then you can look at the shape of the pelvis, and the relative length of the limbs. How long are the arms in relation to the legs? If the skeleton belongs to a modern human, the arms should be relatively short in relation to the legs. In terms of the pelvis, what is the shape or the pelvic girdle? It is short and broad, or long and thin? Does it appear to be well-shaped to cradle the visceral contents of the body? If it does, and if it is shorter and broader, instead of larger, long, and narrow, it is a biped. Check out the feet. Is the big toe divergent? If not, it's a biped. Check out the hands. Are the phalanges long and curved? Or shorter and a bit stout? Long, curved phalanges indicate non-human. Notice I haven't given you very much technical anatomical terminology. Just some hints so you can work out the rest for yourself.
- Q:I have done alot of 330's but never anthing beyond that. I will be buying A different rig to do it. anyting special i need to know. Looks the same to me other than I will be using a jeep and pilot cars sometimes. I hear it pays around $135.00 hr. Does that sound about right? I live in AZ.
- Well, I know a Deer 270 weighs around 64k LBS. and a 350 comes in at around 77k. The transport length is only a foot longer on the 350 and the width/hight is the same. There should be little difference between the 330 and the 345, I guess not enough that you would have any problems.
- Q:how about Metro Excavator Bucket
- Sure thing it can take a big load...
- Q:Im looking for new tires for my 1987 Suzuki 250 QuadRunner 4x4. I came across some a tire called the Duro Excavator HF274. It is exactly the kind of tire that I want because it is good for mud and snow. It is a 4ply tire. But what im not sure about is if it might be to heavy for my quad and if the treads are going to be to agressive for the transmission on my quad becasue it is only a 250cc.
- It looks like a good tire to me. The four ply is a plus, because you don't have to worry as much about puncturing a tire.
- Q:what machines, or devices or ANYTHING uses hydraulics or pneumatics? i need at least 5!
- hydraulics are used as brakes and pneumatics are used for bike pumps
- Q:whoever lists the most info about this gecko gets 10 points. and about how much will 3 of these geckos cost? is excavator good for substrate? how much will everything cost alltogether?do u think i can get it at a reptile expo ( westchester ny whiteplains)
- relies upon on what style of gecko the dwarf is and how different they're in length. additionally the dimensions of the tank they are going to be in. i could communicate with somebody who could comprehend, like a breeder. yet generally, you does not decide for to place them mutually (they could combat and get territorial) in case you do positioned them mutually, continually be sure they have lots of food so as that they dont finally end up combating over food yet i wouldnt propose putting them mutually
- Q:I see stationary machines where one brings top soil to have it sifted. Is there a machine that actually can run across the top soil to a certain depth and pull rocks up to the surface? I have large rocks I am looking to remove. Thanks
- visit the local home improvement store -if you don't find what you're looking for, make your own.
- Q:My Pops owns a septic tank business and he is looking for a excavator that will hook to the front of the septic tank truck. It's single track and it fits to the front bumper of the truck. I have been searching and can't seem to find anything online. Is it called a mini excavator? Can anyone tell me exactly what this is called and where we can find one? Thanks.
- Just go and find an old backhoe...take the bucket and arm and attach to the front of the truck. then you need a way to power the hydraulic pump...you'll need the hoses and control levers off the backhoe as well as the afore-mentioned pump. You can mount the seat behind the contol levers... picture this, if you know what a backhoe is, take off the back half, beef up the trucks front end, mount a big hunk of iron for a bumper on front, and rig up a belt and tensioner to drive the pump, the ways to do it are limited by your imagination, you can go fixed or semi remote(removable), keep in mind your weights, you dont want to have to have a DOT permit every time you move it, and when retracted you will possibly have overhead clearance issues...or you can get a trailer and buy a used backhoe...or he could give you a shovel and put you to digging, I'm betting he likes my last idea best! I hope some of this helps, imagination can make anything possible...COOL.
