Q:Hello, my Compaq Evo n610 charger or charger socket stopped working a few days ago. It no longer charges my laptop correctly. I know the problem is either one of those because the battery is good, but I don't know how to tell which is the problem. Contacting Compaq doesn't seem to solve any problem because I am out of warranty.Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Q:I just bought a new iPod wall charger/ car charger kit. The brand it The Sharper Image and it's called USB charger kit. It's new and the wall charger doesn't work. I plugged it in all night and it didn't charge. There's a little red dot saying it's charging but my iPod doesn't have the charging screen on. I don't know about the car charger. Anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?By the way, i already opened the box and accidentally threw out the recite. Trash day was yesterday so it's long gone. I doubt the store will accept an already opened box.

Yo man. Look, chargers are real pains in the ****. It sounds like you got the wrong brand of charger for your ipod. It probablly fits perfetly, but it sounds like your Ipod has a larger LCR then the charger was made for. This means that the charger is providing enough power for the led light indecator but not enough power to actually fill the charging space of your Ipod. To make that even simpler, your ipod is slowlly draining as much energy as its receaving. I hope it works out for you man. Im not really into making people disapointed. Good luck.

Check the pins on your charger port. If they are pushed in or damaged at all, you will need to replace your phone. If they are corroded (they will be slightly green and algae-ish looking) take an old toothbrush and a little rubbing alcohol, scrub them and then use compressed air to clean our the excess alcohol. If that doesn't do it, you have a bad charger or phone. Try plugging your charger into another outlet.

I'm not a fan of ultra fast chargers that take an hour or less, but you should have no problems with your Varta NiMH charger. I've provided a link that has excellent information about the use and care of NiMH batteries. Don

Yes, you can use those chargers fine. They might not charge the battery as fast as the one that came with it, but they are USB chargers.

Q:Im about to buy a car. I saw this really nice purple srt8 charger that i really liked. However, I just love the Chevy Avalanche. i can't make up my mind. Chevy is classic and will always be and the Charger might be getting played out dont u think? I really love the power from the Hemi its crazy, but speed and power isnt really a big deal. but sure would be fun. I am not trying to compare these two for they are completly different cars. I just want some opinions on which i should go for. Im 19 and manage a resturant so an avy would be a lot of help since i carry stuff around. I would go with the Charger but I like power and muscles cars.The charger is a classic also. I dont know why you think the charger is played out but its your opionion I respec that. Personally the Avalanche Is by far the uglies suv that chevy/GM makes! Also the Charger SRT 8 is somewhat rare and is going to hold its value a lot better!!

Why don't you plug them in and find out? You can't fry the batteries if that's what you mean, the chargers will give the same voltages, so THAT will be compatible. As for the charger fitting you'll have to find out yourself.

Amazon sells shuffle chargers. I never had a shuffle but maybe if u can find an mp3 player with the same size plug thingy u can use that? good luck its best to buy a charger made for shuffles tho.
