3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.
- Q:can it be done? id probably just staple it down over the wooden floor. not to familiar with flooring so thats why im askin. thank you
- Depends on the exact backing on the rug you want to put down. A lot of backings can ruin wood floors.. Some will scratch them up, some will permanently discolor the wood.. If your using it just as a area rub, there are special thin mats that you place under the rug and they stay in place without having to staple them down, If your going wall to wall then I d suggest a padding to help stop this.. - Q:when every i take my cover off my horse it lets of static electric zaps. (you know like if you shuffle along the floor then tap some one and it lets of this zap) but its not small zaps they are very loud, you can hear them crackle from meters away if you move the cover, but they are also EXTREMELY painful!! (It left me with welts all up my arms!) i can hardly hold it because of this (it only dose it when i take it off) and im starting to worry if it may be hurting my horse as well as me, So how can i stop this? Thank You.:'DPS. obviously were in summer and because i live in Australia, the sun is a scorcher. could the sun be a reason why it dose this?

- Apartment grade carpeting can run as low as a1$ a s/f ( all flooring is sold by the s/f now by law) installation and pad extra, That equals out to about $1.60/1.70 a s/f installed. Very cheap carpeting, usually no warranties etc.. GL
- Q:Hi, everyone, Last friday night accidentally I park my car near gutter and it was raining very hard. Any way my car was flooded, the water level.thank God the car is working great except that the air bag light is not going off. I am planning to take it to body shop. Anyway my question is about the wet carpet in the car. I tried everything from using wet/dry vacuum to hair dry to leave the car open in the sun for few days. For some reason the moist is still there and has a bed perfume. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.thanks
- If I were you, I would just put new carpets in it. Mold and Bacteria has grown already, and not to mention the resale value of the car is significantly tarnished. Plus, this gives you an excuse to spend some love/attention/money on ur car :)

- That is a tough one. We purposely didn't buy a home because of that problem. I am assuming you can rip of the padding and carpet, and use either a bleach and water solution, or even those dog urine cleaners. Either way, I think once it's absorbed in the wood, the smell is always there. Sorry.

- Try some Goof Off, it can be found at Home Depot. Be careful with this as it will separate the carpet lining from the carpet nap. Use a terry cloth towel and dab.... do not rub!
- Q:I need to clean my sage green carpet.....they look bad. Does the Rug Doctor work? How much does it cost? Does it make the carpet very wet? Would it be best IF I do get it to use it when I can have windows and doors open so it would air out? I really wanna clean my carpet because it is driving me crazy. - rug doctors work great! last time I rented one from the supermarket, it was 50 or 60 dollars (CDN) plus you have to give them a credit card number. by the time I bought shampoo ( I use vinegar as the defoamer) it cost 80 or 90 dollars total. how wet the carpet gets depends on how wet you make it--the machine gets most of the water out. if you plan on shampooing furniture and stairs, be sure to get the upholstery attatchment

- No I wouldn't do that. Why not buy a plastic tray to place it on? Or one of those rubber mats that go underneath a office chair?
