Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.

- You might try using a liquid fabric softener. Sounds crazy but if it will remove hardened latex paint it may remove the adhesive without damaging your carpet. You can also do this throughout your home to reduce static electricity in the winter time. There is also a product called L.A.s Awesome I purchase it at Dollar General Stores in OK, it removes all kinds of stuff.

- Yes rug doctor is good. Before you run the rug doctor over the carpet,,, first treat it with a mixture of peroxide and water,,,,that should do the trick.

- yes, a carpet installer can patch it if there can be found a piece of carpet that closely matches it.if you can get it at a carpet store that would be the best,otherwise you can take a piece out of a bedroom closet or somewhere it won't be as noticeable.you can do it yourself but it is very complicated to explain on here.basically it is like a patch.

- The ones I have found (online) have a rubber backing so they stay on the floor and don't move around much, so you don't have to connect them. But if you want to, they make really strong tape called carpet tape that you put on the underside of the squares. The good thing about not connecting them is that way you can pick one up and actually just rinse it in the sink if you spill on it. I stopped looking when I found out they would be too expensive for what I wanted (a large area), but you can get them from major places like Home Depot or Lowe's.

- Depends if your horse is going to live out all year, or in on a night, whether it's clipped etc etc. As you are getting a foal, don't buy anything too expensive as it's going to grow out of it pretty quickly. You'll need a waterproof rug for outside and a stable rug for inside. It also depends where you live, what sort of weather you tend to get, if there is good shelter in the field. You can get different weights for rugs, a bit like tog rating on a duvet. Don't get one to warm as it can make a horse soft, the main thing is to prevent the worst of the weather getting onto your horse.

- Usually carpet is held down with a tack strips that run along the wall. Just pry up the carpet at the walls roll the carpet up to the point you can fix the pipe...... Then after it's finished then roll the carpet back and use a knee kicker or power stretcher to stretch the carpet back into place, then tuck the carpet between the tack strip and the wall...... Also there should be a crawl space under the house, to get to the pipes.......There should some kind of access door to get down there, you just have to find it...... Anyway Good Luck..............

- Begin by using a circular carpet cutting tool or a sharp utility knife to cut away the burned area down to the padding. Use caution not to cut into the padding. Before using the burned piece as a stencil to cut out a new section from a remnant, pay careful attention to the nap of the carpet. The nap of the patch should lie in the same direction as the carpet on the floor. Otherwise, the repair will be noticeable even if it is cut to fit the opening perfectly.Next, apply a small amount of seam adhesive to the area that was cut away. This will keep the fibers from unraveling. Use the piece that was cut away to make a patch that fits the hole like a puzzle piece. With the nap in the right direction it will not be noticeable after the repair is complete. k

- Purchase subwoofer carpet, also known as box carpet. This material can be purchased from furniture stores or audio supply stores. Unravel the carpet with the carpet side down and the rubber side up. Place the subwoofer box on top of the rubber side of the carpet. Using a marker, trace out the edges of the box. Repeat with each side of the box. Use an X-Acto knife or scissors to cut out the traced patterns of the subwoofer on the carpet. Apply super glue liberally to the rubber side of the carpet. Affix the carpet to the corresponding side of the subwoofer box. Apply glue to the edges of the carpet piece. Wait for one piece to dry before attaching the next one. Use the hot glue gun to glue the edges of the carpet pieces together. Run the glue along all the edges of the box. This process will attach the pieces of carpet and also create a soft edge to the corners of the box. Use clear glue to maintain a clean look. Feel around the front of the box for the hole or holes in the subwoofer. Stab into the material with a knife or scissors. Cut out all excess material until the hole for the subwoofer shows completely. The edges do not need to be smooth. They will be covered by the subwoofer once it is installed. Look into the hole or holes on the front of the box. Locate the speaker wire port at the back of the box. Stab at that port with a knife or scissors. Cut out the material that covers that hole. Again this area will be covered by a connector port. The edges do not need to be perfect. Install subwoofers. The box is complete.
