Q:The vacuum has a really loud noise to it. At one point I seen grease/oil on the floor while it was running. The noise sounds like it needs grease or something. I'm thinking the bearings, but that's just a guess. Please can someone help or advise of a website where I can find the quot;how to fixquot;. Dyson support was useless. They just said to send the vacuum in or bring to a repair center at my cost. My options aren't big, I live in a very small town that doesn't have many or if any repair centers. Q:I have two pembroke welsh corgis who shed like crazy and bare floors (no carpet at all). I am looking for a great, affordable vacuum that does not collect hair in the bristles on the bottom of the vacuum but actually sucks it up into the machine. I have the same problem and bought a phillips animal care vacuum,this works well for me only thing is you have to empty it at least every 2 days for it to work well. It has a turbo brush which is great on carpets and another brush for hard floors.

I do not know the model of mine due to the fact i'm at work however we haven't had any obstacle with the belt breaking and we've got had it for approximately 7 years and we now have two puppies that shed loads and used to have a cat unless 2 years in the past. It doesn't have any attachments, simply the basic mannequin I feel. We have no carpet though so that would be the main issue for you and the belt you probably have carpet. All of our previous vacuums would best final a 12 months or two but this one has been first-rate! It is so mild too, a Dyson can be heavier....

Ive had a Kirby, Electrolux and Rainbow (BIG pain!) I recently bought a Dyson (purple one for around $500) Best one yet! I have allergies and asthma so I am always trying to get one that helps with my problems. My friend raved about the Dyson (and it is bagless) I use it more than the others now. (actually the Rainbow was sold in a yard sale, and the Electrolux is now for the cars only) Even if they were the same price - I prefer the Dyson over all of the higher priced brands.
