- Q:What the define of light pollution
- Seeing (and for that matter any sensor deployed to detect a signal) must have a contrast. 'Contrast' puts a signal 'stand' against a low-contrast background. It is the cardinal rule of any 'Instrumentation' technique. The lower limit is set by noise. If the ambient noise level is low even a weak (or faint) signal will stand out against a low-noise backdrop. But if the noise level (we are dealing with energies here) is relatively high, signal needs to be higher than it, to be noticeable. In other words a weak signal gets drowned (or buried) in noise. During night the atmosphere has less light to scatter spreading nothing (like light). - For me, strobes are much better than continuous lighting. Continuous lighting gave me some good results, but it was a lot more work and I had to be much more careful. The lights were hot as heck, hard to work around, always had to shoot on a tripod, aperture had to be wide open and the shutter was almost too slow. Strobes is a different story. Much more control, not hot, rarely use a tripod, can light a much larger area with much less equipment. As far as a flash per se, I never use my flash in the studio at all. There's always a wireless trigger on the hotshoe anyway, so it can't even pop up. The only reason to use it with continuous lights is to fill a little where the continuous lighting isn't cutting it. I never did with continuous lighting. It seemed to mess things up more than it helped. If you have good continuous lighting, you shouldn't ever need it.

- Roughly the same characteristics as light received from our sun, or even a light bulb. Light is the transmission of energy from a quantum energy packet called a photon. I would say that the light received from a star is really old, but a photon is not actually effected by time. The photon travels at the speed of light, and so would not experience time or be effected by it. The light we receive from stars is very coherent because of the long distance involved, the photons are exceedingly parallel.

- Q:Got light on my dash got dome lights but the lights to my hearter/ac controls and around that area dont work. How do i fix these lights, its getting winter again and would like to get this fixed. thanks.
- I am pretty sure the illumination of gauges and controls is all run off of the Tail fuse. When you turn on the marker/tail lights or head lights then the illumination should all come on. Make sure the tail fuse is good and the tail lights come ON when you turn on the head lights. does your speedometer light come on ok? if yes then the circuit is working. If it is just the a/c controls that don't light then it could be that the bulb is simply burned out. Also remember that there is a rheostat wheel/knob on the dash somewhere that controls the brightness. if it is turned all the way down the lights will be OFF. Turn it up. If still no lights then check to see if the rheostat is failed open. If it is just the bulb then you have to get the console apart enough to get behind the a/c control and find the little bulb that lights them up. Re-reading your question it sounds like you have dash lights so it is probably just the a/c area bulb. Dome is on different fuse dome fuse. It is always hot so when you open doors the dome lights come on. Tail fuse is cold until you switch on the marker/tail/head lights.
