Q:How to connect or use Solar Power Panels?
You need to know some electrical basics. You need to check if they are still working and determine the output voltage with the use of testers. They are just part of a system that includes other equipments as well like a controller, car batteries, inverters, diodes.
Q:How to charge a Battery with Home Electricity and Solar Panel together?
No, don't connect the panel directly to the battery. You need to isolate the solar panel charging output from the AC-powered charger. A couple of high-current diodes arranged with their anodes connected to the charging sources in the positive supply line will allow either the charger or the solar panel to lift the voltage high enough to charge the battery, albeit with about 0.6 volts dropped across the diode. Both cathode ends would be connected to the battery. This arrangement allows a positive current to flow from either or both charging sources at the same time, although in practice, one will generally be higher than the other. Also, if the AC charger's voltage is significantly higher than the solar panel, the charger may always charge the battery. You would need to regulate its output to be slightly lower than the solar panel when it's near it's minimum useful operating voltage. (note that the 0.6 forward bias voltage on the diode might prevent the solar panel from completely charging the battery if it has any voltage regulation on its output)
Q:Need Help, 2v Solar Panel for Emergency?
I okorder.com okorder.com/... well, I can't find what I have anymore - but anything that will attach to a car charger will attch to it. Now, a radio - if it charges now, you're good - but if it doesn't already charge ---- well, you could charge rechargable batteries with it, I guess.
Q:Hi trying to learn more about Solar panels!?
Solar panels do not store power. Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity. To store power you need batteries. The usual type of batteries used are lead-acid deep discharge( similar to car batteries). The batteries are charged up during the time the sun is out. However, as a backup you could also have a generator handy to provide power for times when the sun did not shine enough to keep the batteries charged up.
Q:Will my 8watt solar panel charge a car battery and how fast?
8w will be .5 amps or so.That would charge a .5 amp battery in an hour.scale that up to whatever your battery amp-age is and you will have an idea. But given that car power is upwards of 40 amp/hour,your looking at 60 hours+ for a full charge on small battery.I run a 400w inverter for emergency lights and tv (get the occasional power cuts)from an old truck battery with big amps and charge it with an optimate, but in doing so I found that I had to run a amp check on power draw to find the lowest use lights.and tv,Some of the so called low power consumption compact fluorecents had widely variable draws, after testing one was found that drew .68 amp and I chose the lowest mesured tv amperage draw.not exactly an answer to your qu,but end use is the same.Running the lamp only I eventually gave up checking on the drain after about 30 hours and now just periodicaly charge the battery.Rounding off.tv draw maybe 3 amps for a small set and watched for say 6 hours would be 8 amps drawn.that would need -2 hours on your proposed set up in ideal conditions.I have kept the figures rough because there is always losses in any system .so it comes down to how much tv you watch and how much the sun shines
Q:80 watt solar panel ? what dose that mean?

Q:Recycling Solar Panels?
yes they are very recyclable, and you would actually be suprised at how much you get back from them just as materials, as there are still very valuable materials in them.... Often solar shops will accept them back for at a fraction of what you paid, as they can send them back to the manufacturer who then do all the material stripping in them and recycle all the materials there. Mainly depends what type of solar panels you have.... Most probably poly-chystalline or mono-chystalline. If they are that cool blue or black psychadelic looking panel also the manufacturing make that effect is also costly so they would probably look to buying that as well.. I would ask a solar shop where it can be done as the silicon in them are still a very prescious substance..... I would definatly not throw them out or pull them apart just yet
Q:Can solar panels work in the shade?
Why pay thousands of dollars for solar energy ($27,000 average cost) when you can build your own solar panel system for just a fraction of the retail cost. You can build a single solar panel or you can build an entire array of panels to power your whole house. Some people are saving 50% on their power bill, some people are reducing their bill to nothing. But what’s most impressive is that just by following these instructions some are even making the power company pay them!
Q:How to install a solar panel system?
If you are grid-tied, then a standard solar electric system will always feed back into the grid if you are not utilizing more power in your home than is being generated by the solar panels and inverter system. It is possible that a grid isolation device designed to prevent direct back feeding is available, but haven't heard of one in common use. New laws in most areas of the US are now mandating that utilities allow grid-tied alternative energy systems. Double-check you local laws. Sometimes you can't take the utilities word for truth--most will automatically say 'no' and will only relent when you show up with the law in hand. Unfortunately, some utilities have figured out another way to shut down alternative energy pioneers--they demand multimillion dollar insurance policies covering damage that their equipment could sustain from your little PV system. Technically, they are still in compliance with the law, they just make it impossible for a homeowner to meet their requirements. If you are getting the runaround, go to your state representative for help. It's amazing how contrite those utility people can be when a state senator (or even US Senator) has just sent a letter asking them why they are stonewalling a law-abiding and well-meaning citizen. Good luck, and don't give up!
Q:Questions about charging batteries via solar panel...?
You did not give the AH rate from your 24V battery pack, therefore , unable to suggest a correct current rate solar panel. The solar panel open voltage rate at least 30V to charge a 24V cell. No harm to controller since the charging current is so small even bike is in running condition.
