Q:i need technical and non technical details to generate MW power by solar panels
I like Rouse's answer, which points to the factors to consider. If you are in India, adjust the inputs to match your local situation. For example, the peak equivalent sun-hours per day might be twice his figure, leading to half the cost. You might find panels that have a 25-year life, reducing the cost per kWh by another 20%. Land and/or labor may be cheaper, also reducing the cost.
Q:My plans are building several solar panels and have a battery bank. I want to be able to power the refriderator and freezer and occationaly an electric grill. How would This work exactly and what would the best way to hook this up to make it work? I want to be able to convert DC to AC. How many batterys would I need to make this work. I know when Civil unrest happens I want to be prepared. How would Wind Power work If I can get the equipment I need?
Solar panels and wind/water turbines all produce the energy and feed it into the batteries. Outfeed from the batteries thru an inverter to an electrical panel. From panel to outlets, into which you plug standard appliances and items. You can also get some appliances that run off of 2volt. Check with r.v. companies and suppliers for these. You can also run low voltage wires straight from batteries to switches to lights, fans, etc if you put in 2v ones. Just like your car has lights, fans (ac blower), and radio. As for how many batteries you need will depend upon how much ebergy you will use. You will need to figure how much all of your items use per hour. Then figure how long your charging device could be down for at a time. Solar panels will not charge at all for the 8-2 hours of nightfall depending on your area. Wind turbines will charge day and night so long as wind is of sufficient speed. Water turbines will charge 24/7 so long as water source(creek, stream, river) doesn't run dry. Neccessity/hr=N, time without charging =T. N times T = the amount of backup power you need to get you thru till charging sysytem kicks back in.
Q:If this was sold back to the grids what would be the profit i would stand to make per day on energy received in these panels? How did you come up with this answer?
This question is too generalized to answer. Are you australia? If so ergon buys the power back at 45cents a KWH which is 3 times what they sell it for.(this is guaranteed for 20years) We have a 2.4kw system and it will take approx 5years to pay itself off. Once carbon trading is in full swing electricity costs are going to go up by 40%, then obviously it will take approx half the time.
Q:Can solar panels be used for powering electric gates?
Yes, solar panels can be used to power electric gates. Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity, which can be used to operate various electrical devices, including electric gates. This renewable energy source is an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective solution for powering gates in remote or off-grid locations.
Q:How do solar panels perform in extreme temperatures?
Solar panels can still generate electricity in extreme temperatures, but their efficiency may be slightly affected. In high temperatures, solar panels may experience a decrease in their power output due to increased resistance in the electrical circuits. In extremely cold temperatures, solar panels may become less efficient temporarily, but they can still produce electricity as long as there is sunlight. Overall, while extreme temperatures can have a minor impact on solar panel performance, they are designed to withstand a wide range of weather conditions and continue to produce clean energy.
Q:Solar panels are all divided into these squares, forming a grid like pattern. Is it possible to have a single piece of solar panel?
Yeah, but if something happened to it you would have to replace the whole thing. This way you only need to replace a small bit of it if there's a problem. Plus, they're easier to transport.
Q:. Do they scratch easily? How do I remove snow from them without scratching them?2. What does the upkeep of many solar panels consist of? I want to have my electricity completely off of the grid.3. Are all solar panels made from the same material, regardless of size?
. Do they scratch easily? No How do I remove snow from them without scratching them? Just wipe the snow off 2. What does the upkeep of many solar panels consist of? Clean them with tap water and paper towels once a month. 3. Are all solar panels made from the same material, regardless of size? Basically the same.
Q:What is the impact of tree shading on solar panels' efficiency?
The impact of tree shading on solar panels' efficiency is negative as it reduces the amount of sunlight reaching the panels and therefore decreases their energy production.
Q:How do solar panels impact the local economy?
Solar panels can have a positive impact on the local economy in several ways. Firstly, the installation and maintenance of solar panels create jobs, boosting employment opportunities in the area. Additionally, the use of solar energy reduces dependency on traditional energy sources, which can lead to lower energy costs for businesses and residents, freeing up more money to be spent locally. Furthermore, solar panel installations often require local partnerships and suppliers, supporting local businesses and stimulating economic growth. Ultimately, the adoption of solar panels contributes to a more sustainable and resilient local economy.
Q:Can solar panels be used in remote areas with no access to the grid?
Yes, solar panels can be used in remote areas with no access to the grid. Solar panels generate electricity from sunlight, which can be stored in batteries for use during nighttime or cloudy days. This off-grid solar system allows for a reliable and sustainable power source in remote locations, providing electricity for various purposes such as lighting, charging devices, and powering small appliances.
