Q:i am traveling to tw. would like to know in taipei where is the spot to get cash from ATM. also would like to know if the power outlet configuration in taiwan is the same as that in the US. thank you.
Yeah, the power outlets are the same as the US, so you dont really need to worry about that. The 2 plug type is more common, so you might need to bring a converter for the 3 prong type. Citibank has branches through out Taiwan, so if you find some Taiwan banks' atm not working, you can probably go to a Citi atm. Just be aware that you might encounter some fees from either the bank atm you are using and/or your bank.
Q:I m going on a three-day long trip, but we ll be sleeping on a bus, so no outlets. We have an iPhone 5c, an iPhone 6, and a iPad mini 3 that we ll have to charge. Assuming we need to get three charges out of each of them, what size power bank should I get for this? I m okay with getting multiple. Thanks!
You will need more than one. Full iPhone 5c charge 1500 mAh. Full iPhone 6 charge 1800 mAh Full iPad mini charge 6400 mAh (all values approximate) Add up and multiply by 3 gives almost 30,000 mAh. Common sense would suggest a 50% reserve, so 45,000 mAh. What about a charger to fit in the bus accessory socket?
Q:By owning the Federal Reserve Bank, they can print as much money as they need to buy off anyone who isn't Jewish and stands in their way or has power over major sectors of our govt and society.
Idiot. The Federal Government owns the Fed. Go back under your rock.
Q:I would like to know who deregulated airlines, banks, and electic power
Airlines were deregulated by the same folks who regulated them: the federal government. Airline Deregulation Act of 1978 Banks are regulated by both federal and state laws, which have been greatly loosened over the last 25 years. Electricity is regulated by both state and federal laws, which have been loosened over the last decade.
Q:Hello i am looking to buy this power supply, can my computer support this?
All ATX form factor power supplies are required to be manufactured to the same measurements and specifications to be compatible with all ATX computer cases, so it should fit if you have an ATX case.
Q:a. claimed the power to review acts of Congressb. ruled that Congress could charter a national bankc. ruled that a state could tax the national bankd. ruled that slavery was fully legal
b. ruled that Congress could charter a national bank The Supreme Court, however, decided that the chartering of a bank was an implied power of the Constitution, under the “elastic clause,” which granted Congress the authority to “make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution” the work of the Federal Government.
Q:a. levying taxesb. creating banksc. establishing federal courtsd. coining moneye. admitting new states
b. creating banks Implied powers, in the United States, are those powers authorized by a document (from the Constitution) which, while not stated, seem to be implied by powers expressly stated. When George Washington asked Alexander Hamilton to defend the constitutionality of the First Bank of the United States against the protests of Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and Attorney General Edmund Randolph, Hamilton produced what has now become the classic statement for implied powers. Hamilton argued that the sovereign duties of a government implied the right to use means adequate to its ends. Although the United States government was sovereign only as to certain objects, it was impossible to define all the means which it should use, because it was impossible for the founders to anticipate all future exigencies. Hamilton noted that the general welfare clause and the necessary and proper clause gave elasticity to the constitution. Hamilton won the argument with Washington, who signed his Bank Bill into law.
Q:How How did President Andrew Jackson violate the seperation of Powers in his actions to destroy the Bank of the United States??? Please help detailed facts would be much appreciated
It was principally over the BUS, Bank of the United States, which he tried to drive out of business in his second term. The Senate censured him for the action, but the censure was expunged in the last few days of his second term. The principal attacks he launched against The monster as he called the BUS, were by vetoing the renewal of the bill to re-charter the bank and then by withdrawing US funds from the Bank and depositing them in the smaller State banks. I am attaching a link to a story concerning the impeachment crisis of 1999. It describes the Jackson censure in fairly easy to follow language. For additional information I'd try searches such as Jackson and BUS or Jackson and Bank for more information. Historian Robert Remini has written biographies of Jackson, Clay, Webster and Calhoun, and while I've only read Clay and Webster thus far, the detail with which he goes into the subject there (especially in the Clay book) indicate he'd have some good material in the Jackson book. I am also attaching an article about the Bank and the text of the Veto message of July 10, 1832
Q:Depending on the price I would like to have a second battery bank to charge at home while driving on the other bank.Thoughts?
Possible but probably not economically feasible. It takes twice as much energy to charge a battery as a battery holds and solar photo-voltaics are currently around the $8 a watt range. Even if your electric vehicle only had a 1/5th of the range of a comparable gas car and that an electric vehicle is 90% efficient compared with the 25% efficiency of a gasoline car and only using half the range of the car per day, you're still talking about 20 KWh and if you assume that you have 8 hours of decent sunshine to work with that means 2,500 KW worth of Solar Panels or $20,000 just for the panels. Since batteries are the major part of the cost of an electric vehicle, you're probably talking about $60,000 to have an electric vehicle, two sets of batteries, the solar panels and the control circuitry to charge them daily. The difference between that and an economical fuel efficient gasoline car pays for an awful lot of gas.
Q:I see in Article 1 Section 8 that they have the power to coin money and establish value thereof. I would assume that would include bills of credit as well until I read Article 1 Section 10. It denies the states the power to coin money and it also denies them the power to emit bills of credit. So it has made it very clear that coin money and emit bills of credit are different powers of government. But wait, where does it say that bills of credit can NOT be emitted by the Federal Government? O shoot the 10th amendment forbids the Federal Government from taking any action that is not authorized by the Constitution and its Amendments. Now I understand that the Supreme Court does not interpret it like this. They did at first with Hepburn v. Griswold but that was overturned by Knox v. LeeWhat do you think?
Interesting. I have never had that one questioned. I will have to look into it deeper, as it seems that you are 100% accurate. And the Supreme Court has been misinterpreting the Constitution for quite some timeThe States need to reclaim their rights by nullifying ALL federal usurpations of powerand the Supreme Court has no Constitutional power to stop them. For those about to mention the Supremacy Clause.the federal government is superior to the states ONLY in those limited powers granted to the federal government, not across the board.
