The mechanisms are always used at full power. When hoisting, the speed is optimized according to the load and command used. In distribution, progressive variation of speedand the maximum speed are adapted to the weight of the load. In orientation, there is controlled proportionalspeed with optimal acceleration and deceleration in accordance
with the maximum admissible torque for the mast.
The auxiliary winch can be used on the derrick: this provides users with the possibility of a motorized derrick at the base of the machine.

DVF Distribution
The jib-footDVF mechanism is easily accessible in total safety.
Progressive speed variation by proportional control.
The speed depends directly on the controls manipulated by the crane operator.
To make driving the crane easier, 2 hard spots integrated into the controlsprovide better pinpointing of the speed.

With different mechanisms (33 to 150 LVF Optima or 108 to 215 hp LBR), MD cranes are capable of high working speeds through optimizing speed in accordance with the load hoisted, allowing for gains in productivity.
•  For the first increments (approach speed, sling tension, etc.) hoisting of the load is controlled by the load security
device (a proving ring).
•  For working speeds, the Optima system adapts the speed in accordance with the load hoisted. This enables full power of the motor to always be used for optimum productivity.
The LVF Optima provides a gain of around 25% in descending speed.

RVF + orientation
The RVF Optima + orientation enables gentle rotating movements without jerking.
Fully integrated progressive control.
Driving adapts to the behavior of the crane operator:
•  Traditional driving thanks to action controlled by stoppage of the command. The slow-down phase of the jib is managed by the frequency variator in this case.
•  Or by an inverted command in the slow-down phase, called a «counter-orientation» command.
As a result, the crane operator can control stoppage.

The design of the electric sockets allows simple and quick connectionon all sites.
Whilst operating or transporting, the cables are integrated and/or stored easily in the crane, increasing the service life of the electrical equipment and providing optimal conditions of safety.
•  There is a special channel for electric wiring in the counter-jib.

You suggested they are lifting comparable metallic beams. we do no longer be responsive to if the cranes are comparable of their overall performance. Are they the two lifting the load in an analogous way? would be one is shifting it vertically against gravity and yet another one is shifting it horizontally. The motor performance and the operator studies would be diverse. using and coasting would reason substantial adjustments.

On the whole fight, Machida try to use the front kick (not crane kick) to the head against Jon Jones during first round, but due to reach differences, he is not able to hit him, and Jon Jones are keeping distance against Machida, because when Lyoto try to hit him, Jones simply slide back to avoid the strike. First of all, let's think of a crane like a giant see-saw, where the plank itself doesn't have any weight. Now cranes have big weights on one side of the pivot, which they can move along (I think, I may be wrong). These cause what is called a 'turning moment'. The further out from the 'pivot' they are, the greater the moment. The other consideration with a crane is it's load. Generally, this is carried a lot further out from the pivot point, on the opposite side from the weights. Now consider this. If you have a small child sitting on the end of a see-saw, you will be able to balance them with a larger person sat closer to the pivot. This is the principle on which cranes work. The moment is the force times the distance from the pivot, and it must be balanced turning each way for the see-saw/crane not to topple. This is somewhat of a simplification, but hope it helps.

Whooping cranes ARE a part of the food chain..every animal on the planet is....Nata has NO clue what they are talking about. And I HAVE seen a whooping crane before..in the wild while working in Florida. Only 6 existed on the refuge I was working on and I was lucky enough to see 4 of them. It is something I will never forget! If we lost this bird, the animals it feeds on may increase in numbers causing plagues, and other birds that may live and feed in similar habitats may become too plentiful as well since they would have no competition from the cranes. Those birds could in turn wipe out other species. There are also many changes that might take place that we could not even guess at...until it actually happened. This is often the case as we still do not have a great understanding of how one species affects another. But all species DO affect one another, think of each species as a link in a chain, or a strand in a spider web. If you start snipping strands in a web, or damaging or breaking links, what do you think will happen. They will weaken and collapse and eventually fall apart.
