Product Description:

Hot Rolled Steel is widely available in the A36 steel alloy. The process to create Hot Rolled Steel creates

a more ductile steel with a rough surface finish and is sometimes more difficult to machine. The cost is usually

much less than a similar Cold Rolled product. Hot Rolled Steel A36 comes in many shapes including: hot rolled

steel flat bars, hot rolled steel flat bars, hot rolled steel round bars, hot rolled steel square bars, hot rolled steel

channels, hot rolled steel angles, and hot rolled tubing. Order Hot Rolled Steel Alloys in A36 Hot Rolled Steel

Alloys and Hot Rolled Stainless Steel Sheets in small quantities and no minimums of all Stainless Steel at The Metal Store.

Q:What is the difference between a steel strip and a coil? The steel strip is flat steel, and the steel coil is made of steel.
A steel strip is also a coil, usually a narrow strip, also known as a steel strip. The volume is relatively wide. In addition, flat steel is usually hot-rolled out of long strip steel, fixed length 5 and 5.5,6 meters range, steel coil is Kaiping Chang 12501500, length 2.5 meters, 4 meters, 6 meters, ranging from steel plate
Q:Cost of steel siding vs vinyl? Siding damaged from hail.?
I'm not sure of the cost but from experience having bought steel siding instead of vinyl for my home, if you can afford the difference it is well worth your money..I've had it for 25 years and it does hold up much better than vinyl!
Q:Aluminum alloy rolling doors and color steel shutter door that good
The material and structure design Aluminum Alloy rolling shutter door out of the ordinary, can effectively prevent glare and ultraviolet radiation, sunlight greenhouse effect on indoor has completely solved, applicable to all kinds of changes in climate and weather, has a long-term protective effect on indoor environment, tests show that the shutter doors and windows to keep out sunshine rate to 100%, the the rate can reach more than 95% block temperature.
Q:Use for spring steel?
Uses Of Spring Steel
Q:Stainless steel vs carbon steel for swords?
The decorative swords you buy are actually blunt. my brother bought a set and they were blunt. Also some of the swords you buy in the shops like the previous person said are for decorative use only. A real Samurai sword cost a lot more than 30 dollars. The program I saw on TV was about these swords and they said that they cost about 1000 dollars or more for the real thing. 30 dollars is very cheap for a sword also the machete is a wider blade compared to the samurai which is why it's probably stronger.
Q:Galvanized Steel Poisoning?
i have a dog with a galvanized chain on her neck ''for looks'' can she get even the slightest harmful effect from it being on her 24/7?
Q:CONNECTING STAINLESS STEEL TUBE (SOLDER?)?
Compression Ferrel connections are the best. for small diameter pipe and tubing. A local hardware shop can supply you with the necessary parts and pieces and can also give you a step by step procedure/self help brochure. This will also allow you to install any valve or t or blank in the piping system. The only tools required will be wrenchs and a tube/piping cutter for this type of installation. Brazing is accomplished by heating the base metal and then the rod. There are different types of brazing rod such as brass, bronze etc.. you will also need a can of flux to coat the rod or you can buy the rod pre-coated. If the seam is flat metal you can use the heat from the brazing tip to make the filler rod follow the direction you want. This also includes vertical such as on an auto body. I would suggest practicing this in a safe area. Always utilize a fire extinguisher, brazing goggles, welding gloves and wear a long sleeve shirt for your protection.
Q:Do steel cartridge cases take less pressure than brass cases?
The ammo loaded in steel casing has a tendency to be loaded at lower pressures, for some reason. Most if not all of the steel case is of foreign manufacture. No reason steel can't be loaded to same pressures to that of brass, would probably seal better. Most of the calibers you describe in steel cases go in weapons with loose tolerances, like the AK. Lot of times, the steel won't seal in the chamber, creating blow by, putting crud in the chamber. This condition makes it hard to feed, chamber, and extract in a tight dimension chamber that is present in NATO weapons. AK's, due to more generous tolerances, won't be sensitive to this.. Weapons from NATO are of more tightly toleranced chambers like the AR, HK, Barret, etc. where brass is more reliable in sealing, and minimizes the blow by and keeps things clean, or at least more clean than a steel case that may not seal.
Q:UNITED STATES STEEL OR GE?
I would go with some in one and less in the other. Given that steel prices have collapsed (and seeing as the Chinese economy is going into a recession, they will probably stay low for a while) I would say that because US Steel is a blue chip company it will be around for the long term, but, it won't make much for a while. GE on the other hand has been beaten down thanks to some mismanagement issues under current CEO Jeffrey Immelt, however, they have a range of strong products (save for their broadcast division, RCA/NBC). Given that the stock is at a severe low with the company itself being worth quite a bit (with a fair amount of bailout funds coming to its' financial division) and the Obama administrations' green initiatives coming online over the next couple of years the demand for their products will be high. I would simply say 70/20 GE/US. Good luck.
Q:what is a better grade of steel?
SAE 440 is the best. Classified as high grade cutlery steel. There are various grades of 440: A, B, C, and F. 440 A is the most stain resistant while 440 C has the most carbon and can achieve the highest hardness (Best edge Retention). SAE 440 Chemistry: 16 - 18% Chromium, 0.60 - 1.2% Carbon, 0.75% Molybdenum. SAE 420 is pretty good. Classified as cutlery steel, it is a stain resistant grade but has less chromium and significantly less carbon than SAE 440. SAE 420 Chemistry: 12 - 14% Chromium, 0.15% Carbon (min), 0 Molybdenum Chromium is what makes the steel corrosion resistant. It also adds toughness. Molybdenum adds extra corrosion resistance and adds hardenability. So you can see by chemical components that 440 is highest quality although that also means more cost. 1045 and 1065 are low quality steels and you should probably never use them for a knife. The 1 indicates plain carbon steel with little other alloying elements. The last two digits indicate how much carbon is in the steel. 1045 has 0.45% carbon, mid-range hardenability. 1065 has 0.65% carbon, high hardenability. So if I had to choose I would choose 1065 over 1045 but the difference isn't that noticeable. Everything I said here assumes they have all had the optimum Quench and Temper heat-treatment for their chemistry grade.
