Advantages of PPR fittings

1. High Temperature Resistance: the maximum sustained temperature is up to 70 Degrees Celsius, the maximum transient temperature is up to 95 Degrees Celsius

 2. Heat Preservation: low thermal conductivity which is only 1/1500 of brass pipe, and 1/250 of steel pipe

 3. Non-toxic: no heavy metal additives, would not be covered with dirt or contaminated by bacterium

 4. Corrosion Resistant: resist chemical matters or electron chemical corrosion

 5. Lower Installation Costs: light weight and ease of installation can reduce installation costs by as much as 50% over metal piping system

 6. Higher Flow Capacity: smooth interior walls result in lower pressure loss and higher volume than metal pipes

 7. Long life: more than 50 years under normal conditions

 8. Recycled and Environment-friendly

Q:Is it possible to use extension tubes with modern nikon camera for macro photography?
Yes absolutely - it's one way of doing macro without investing in a macro lens. There are two types - basic plastic tubes or the type with electrical connections which will allow you to continue to use focus/metering with your lens.
Q:...little grinding bits come in.The seal can be O.D. or I.D. and needs to slip on and off fairly easy, just like the seals in the tubes that contain the littler grinding bits Dremel makes.
1 piece of heat-shrink tubing to insulate your solder connection between EL wire and stereo wire (RadioShack) 1/2 6x32 clear polycarbonate screw to hold end bushing in (this is a recent addition, because the end bushings have come out of some of my blades when they are dueled with. However, these are rather expensive, as screws go. I think I payed about $10 for 50 screws.) hot glue, or silicone for end of blade super glue to glue in top and bottom bushings Note: I don't really like RadioShack all that much. I have a much better electronics store locally that I use that has a better selection and cheaper prices, but you can't order from them online, so I know you should be able to find what you need at RadioShack) That's just for the blade.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for plumbing?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for plumbing. Plastic pipes, such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), are commonly used in plumbing systems for their durability, affordability, and ease of installation. They are resistant to corrosion, have good chemical compatibility, and offer flexibility in design and installation options.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for oil lines?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for oil lines.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for storing pet products or treats?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing pet products or treats. They are a convenient and practical option for keeping pet items organized and easily accessible. Plastic tubes also help to maintain the freshness and quality of treats, making them a suitable choice for pet owners.
Q:I am using a device to push small volumes (60-100cc) through a plastic tube with a length of approx 24 and a diameter of 1mm or less. I can control flow rate, generally 2-4cc/sec. The liquid has a higher viscosity than water. I am trying to determine the difference in pressure on the piston face (which remains a constant size) using different fluids with slightly different viscosities through tubing of the same length, and differences in pressure using the same fluid through different tubing lengths. Ie; Fluid A and Fluid B through Tube 1, and Fluid A through Tube 1 and 2. The tubes are the same material, same diameter, regardless of length. The pressure used to push the piston remains the same across all fluid/tubing combinations.
If the flow is not turbulent (no high speeds) and incompressible, and the tube is of circular cross section, then Poiseuille Law flow will ensue. In Poiseuille flow through a cylindrical pipe the velocity is largest along the centerline of the tube and diminishes to zero at the inner wall quadratically with distance r: v(r) = c (R^2 - r^2) with c a constant for given viscosity and pressure gradient ( delta(p) / L ) In Poiseuille flow through a cylindrical pipe the rate of flow (volume/second) is given by Qdot, where Qdot = ( Delta(p) pi R^4 ) /(8 eta L). (where eta is the dynamic viscosity of the fluid) Since the pressure difference Delta(p) is the pressure on the piston face - ambient pressure , let's call this (p - p0) , you have p - p0 = ( 8 eta L) * Qdot /(pi R^4) Using this Poiseuille' s Law you can calculate the pressure on the piston. You say at the end of your question that the pressure used to push is kept constant. In that case the flow rate you measure should be inversely proportional to eta and L.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for sound insulation?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for sound insulation. Plastic tubes can be filled with sound-absorbing materials such as foam or rubber, which help to reduce the transmission of sound waves. Additionally, the use of plastic tubes can provide a barrier that prevents sound from passing through, making them an effective option for sound insulation in certain applications.
Q:How to clean the plastic tube of water dispenser for water dispenser?
The automatic cleaning function is that the water dispenser is provided with an automatic cleaning nozzle, and when the cleaning is needed, the water discharging motor starts, and the cleaning part is cleaned by the jet stream.
Q:the drinking water to taste like plastic of vinyl? Or could it be the new inline filter that I placed behind the fridge? I ran 3 gallons of water after I fixed the broken water line (split in half near the bottom where it 180s) and change the filter. When you first drink the water, it tastes ok. After the glass sits for a while, it takes on a plastic taste. Could it be that 4 inch piece of clear plastis hose I used to splice the water line?
This will not taste like the plastic of vinyl.
Q:I've just started my phlebotomy class and have 8 different colors tubes which are Yellow (Sterile tube), Light Blue, Red,Gold(SST), Light Green(PST), Green,Lavender, and Grey. I'm having trouble understanding what tubes go where.... like I know Red tube is used for Chemistry and Light Blue is used for Coagulation..... The book really isan't that great so I'm kind of confused... Also I've looked on the internet and they mention a pink tube that is used for blood going to the blood bank but there is no pink tube mentioned anywhere in my book. If anyone could take the time to help me out with this I would appreciate it so much and gladly give you the 10 points...... My instructor is great at the hands on portion of actually drawing the blood but lacking very much so in the lecture portion.... so as you can imagine I'm lost! Thanks so much!
That's not true! The PINK tube has EDTA and is used in blood bank. It replaces having to draw a plain red to for serum and a purple top. Pink rubber top tube contains an additive called ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), or potassium salt. This tube is used for full blood counts (CBC) required for blood banks, blood type screening, or blood cross-match.
