Q:Can plastic tubes be used for irrigation in agriculture?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for irrigation in agriculture. They are often used as a cost-effective and efficient method for distributing water to crops, as they can be easily arranged and adjusted to meet specific irrigation needs. Plastic tubes are durable, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for various agricultural environments. Additionally, they can be installed above or below ground, providing flexibility in irrigation systems.
Q:I have a question. I have a air pump and some of the plastic tubing in my aquarium right not. Well, the plastic tubing has hardened and just will not stay in place. So I am thinking of going and purchasing some of the silicon airline tubing. I have a treasure chest and a sunken ship in the aquarium, but they do not have the hookup (airstone). So, I just put the tubes let the air come out of the end. Do I have to have an airstone? I haven't up until now and the bubbles are big. What do I need to purchase when I go to the pet store? Thanks!
Hi! I am in the process of doing the same thing! The first thing you need to figure out is the actual size of your fish tank because that is going to determine the size of the filter and heater that you need, not to mention, how many fish you can put in your tank. The rule of thumb is one inch of fish per gallon of water for most freshwater tropical fish. It is different for goldfish and african cichlids though. Here is the list of things I would get: BASICS: heater, power filter, water conditioner, thermometer, fish net, tropical fish flake THEN: gravel, plants, tank background, decorations, lighted hood(flourescent is best), beneficial bacteria, a gravel siphon for cleaning, get a self starting one, it's worth the extra few dollars, bucket strictly for water changes. Take a tap water sample to the fish store with you so you know what pH you are dealing with. Angelfish like a slightly acidic pH between 6.5 and 6.8. They can be acclimated to other levels though. Take the time to do some research on the nitrogen cycle and acclimating your fish. It can save the life of your fish. Angelfish are great fish with alot of personality. I hope you enjoy yours!
Q:Regarding the cigars. The following is for the humidity conditions. It is now 4:50 pm here, I am going to a party tomorrow at 4:00 pm. So 24 hours time. I live in South Africa and its winter here. I bought Romeo y Julieta cigars (Romeo No3 and 2) and a Blackstone Cherry (not a cigarillo). I don't have a humidor. But I looked in the tubes (Romeo Julieta tubes- they are metal tubes) of the Julietas and they have a wood layer around the inside of the tube. Will these cigars be fine in these conditions for 24 hours in their tubes? The Blackstone is in a plastic tube with no wood. Just plastic. Must I leave the cigars in their tubes in a Ziplock bag? And I have no waterpouches humidification pouches. I read on Cigars for less that tubes can preserve them for a long time. Oh, and I have air-conditioning in my room. But will the cupboard in my room work? I usually set the aircon between 18-21* Celsius. I can put the cigars somewhere else if it is better.
I would keep in a desk drawer lying on their sides wrapped in their tubes.
Q:Is schedule 40 plastic tubing sufficient for a 30' line from my water softener to my house?
schd 40 great- at least a 1 inch line if off your water meter
Q:What is the thermal fuse sleeve of the wire mesh plastic composite pipe?
Hot melt connection quota of plastic pipe.
Q:what cage should i get for my teddy bear hamster? plastic with tubes or wire with platics bottom?
get a wiered one. reason: the hampster will be able to chew out of the plastic one.
Q:Are plastic tubes resistant to oil?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to oil.
Q:How are plastic tubes labeled with lot numbers?
Plastic tubes are typically labeled with lot numbers through various methods such as direct printing, adhesive labels, or laser etching. These lot numbers are used for traceability and quality control purposes, allowing manufacturers and users to track and identify specific batches of tubes for various applications.
Q:Can anybody tell me what the plastic tubes/lines are that run along the under body of my 2003 GLI? I was driving down the highway the other day, and a Semi truck dropped a big chunk of ice off of it and I took a shot to my under body. When I got home I checked under neath and notice it dented my fuel filter pretty back and pinched a white plastic hose that was next to the fuel filter. I followed the line and it goes into my rear pass. wheel well. I looked in the owners manual but I can't find anything on these lines that are under there. Some are blue and some are white. Anybody know what it is? I unkinked the hose and everything seems to be running fine, I'm assuming it's some type of vent, maybe for the gas tank, but I've never seen anything like this before, and I'm kind of confused why they would run something like that under the body of a car that sits so low to begin with. I would really like to know what these lines are. Thanks!
Ok, There are three lines one black white and green! Two are fuel lines one is fuel feed line and the other is return line to the tank! The other is a vent line or evap line! So I would check them out very closely for damage! If you look under your hood to the right of the coolant bottle are said lines you can follow each one ond see where it goes and what it goes to! Hope this helps.
Q:Are plastic tubes resistant to pressure?
Yes, plastic tubes can be resistant to pressure depending on the type of plastic used and the thickness of the tube walls. Some plastics, such as PVC or high-density polyethylene (HDPE), are known for their ability to withstand high-pressure applications. However, it is important to consider the specific characteristics of the plastic material and the intended pressure range before determining its suitability for a particular application.
