Usage of C5:
1. Road marking paint: It can improve on the brightness, bonding, water and weather-resistance and may perfection for the dispersing and drying of any pigments.
2. Rubber: It goes compatible with both natural and synthetic rubber and characterized as adhesive, softening and reinforcement, it functions as an ideal for manufacturing of tyres and processing of any rubbers.

- I have done this, but had the problem that if you just take a dried bug, often the air out of the bug will come out during curing and the resin isn't transparent there. So, yes, getting air out is important. I think it's less that the bug rots. So I didn't find it easy to get good results unless you try to get the resin into the bug as well. The solvents to make this easier are pretty toxic, so I don't know whether to recommend this. I haven't tried a vacuum pump which could pull air out of the bug while it is immersed in resin, it would probably be one of the better ways to go. The other way would be to use resin without the catalyst and immerse the bug in that for at least a couple of hours. Then remove most of that and replace it with resin with catalyst. That works better if the resin is less viscous - therefore if you do it in several steps with resin with a solvent (going from lots of solvent and little resin to very little solvent and mostly resin) it can work. But the additional problem is to get the bug's legs into a nice pose. That works well with a bug you can dry and pin the legs so they will hold shape while the bug is dry, but once the bug is in the solvent, that pose will disappear. It's all a lot of work. By the way, if you need to kill a bug, the best way is to put it into a freezer in a jar. The cold will first anesthetizes the bug before it kills it.

I talked to a roofer that did his mom's house up the street, which is the same style as mine, and did rubber roof on the backside where it is less then the 2 inch rise/ft for shingles. I later read more on rubber roofing and I know that the petrolium in the asphalt shingles would destroy the epmd rubber if they touched but is there a proper way to make a seam at the roof cap to go from rubber on the flat backside to the cap and have asphalt front side?The roof is leaking in several places and did a lot with one bad snow storm that caused ice damming on the flat side. I was told a rubber roof would pretty much solve that problem. I have vaulted exposed beam ceilings with no attic and no insulation cavity so heat loss is excessive. I have also been searching for solutions to increase the R value of the roof. Right now all thats there is the birch on the inside, 2 inch buffalo board, then the shingles.

- There is a great place on the net to buy all kinds of resins, silicones, plasters, waxes, etc called Smooth On (dot com you'll find it). They sell every kind of resin you can imagine. I did a lot of this kind of stuff making custom car parts and accessories. One thing you will really want to get, though is a vacuum pump- a good one. That gets all the bubbles out of your mixtures. Be that as it may, most craft stores sell a great selection of casting resins and I could not live without a Dick blick store nera me- they carry all sorts of resins, mold making materials and colorants.
