Even give oven ware a clean if needed, if you have plastic stuff best to buy new ones take it with you when you move again Then arrange plates in one pile oven ware in another in cupboard. - I know you don't want to spend too much money but keeping your back in shape and your body not sore is more important. I'd buy a good quality mattress, make payments if necessary because in the long run it's worth it. And a good mattress will last years. Sofa bed mattresses are better nowadays than they used to be, but still not good to sleep on every night and if you get a cheap mattress, trust me in a year it will be junk. You get what you pay for. A good mattress is a good investment even if you have to put it on the floor until you can afford the bed. Good luck. Oh and buying a used mattress.....?.....uh I don't know how you feel about laying on someone elses' stuff...but I wouldn't. Get a new one.

- My daughter bought the Chateau D'Ax leather sofa at Macy's about five years ago. I think it's called the Opie or something similar. Paid in the neighborhood of $1000. It's the primary place they crash at night so it sees a lot of use. It looks like new. I'm pretty impressed that it's stood up so well because they don't baby it. Because they liked it so much, my mom and dad also bought one just like it but in a different color (special order) about 4 years ago, and it shows absolutely no wear and is super comfortable too. Ok....it's my mom and dad, and they aren't hard on anything, so it's not a great test. But still......they love it and it's a great napping sofa. For the price, I'd buy one in a minute if I had a place for it. Love the chair and ottoman that goes with it too.
